The Elf on the Shelf An Elfs Story Gingerbread House Kit by Cookies United

All I needed was a gingerbread house that showed up all in one piece. This did, and it had lots of cute decorations to use when assembling. I was satisfied.

Do not waste your money! I ordered 2 ginger bread houses from this seller and both were completely broken. It was so bad, the kids ended up just put icing in the pieces and ate them because they could put the house together. So disappointing!!

Had this shipped to my nephew who is a big Elf On The Shelf fan, it was a hit. Thankfully came and no pieces were broken.

Arrived broken, difficult to put together.

We had 2 kits, 1 was this one and the other was from another manufacturer. This one the icing tasted better, held better, and had a better cookie than the other kit. The house fell while decorating, but I’m fairly certain she was heavier handed trying to decorate the roof! My only minus is we could have used more candy decorations, but it worked out because the other kit fell apart and she used those candies.

The gingerbread arrived broken. Very heavy gingerbread. Difficult for children to build compared to other gingerbread house kits. Good variety of candy. Good icing. Would not buy again.

This made my little grand daughter very happy and excited in difficult times.

The only reason we ordered this was because we were quarantined and could not leave the house to buy one at a store. We wanted our daughter to have some Christmas fun while we all quarantined, but unfortunately it never worked out that way. Every product we buy from Amazon comes directly to our house, right at our front door, this how ever ended up at our local post office, meaning we couldn't leave and go get it. 😞 To top it off when we could actually pick it up it only comes with 2 tiny bags of candy, about 10 gumdrops and a teaspoon of tiny round cake sprinkles. It was also missing the cookies that states on the box that are suppose to be included. The gingerbread seemed very fresh and smelled great and did however come in one piece not damaged unlike all the other reviews I read. The idea would have been great but the entire house was not planned out very well, for example, the chimney makes the roof unable to attach so you'll have to cut it off if you still decide to order this. You'll need to provide your own candy also cause what it comes with was a joke. I would strongly advise you to look at other options. Sorry for the bad review but its an honest one.
