We bought this for our Sportsmobile camper van. I had to order special mounts for the van, but it was super easy to mount and we absolutely love it. It is easier to open and close with 2 people, but 1 person can do it. I love the cool LED light and was easy to hook up to our 12v power. It's very well made too. Also bought the full enclosure that goes with it and it was a great addition. I would definitely recommend this!!

Love my ARB awning.

We had a teardrop and this was almost as long as the trailer. This awning and the room you can attach to the bottom of it and it is a great addition to camping in the wild. This is easy to attach, you have to get the brackets that fit your camper or roof rack. Setting it up can be done with one person, though it is much easier with two.

I am pretty happy with this product overall. The only reason I deduct a star is unfortunately the velcro straps are what holds this back. The stitching along the velcro should have been a double stitched and reinforced or at least a zig zag pattern. The rest of the canopy is designed well with flex joints, solid canvas, durable poles and strong zip bag that feels durable. The light is nice, at low setting it sips 3 watts. I’m just disappointed that of all things that may cause premature failure it’s the velcro straps that secure canopy along length wise poles that should be durable to help this survive the wind / breezes. It’s fairly easy to set up with two people but requires a bit of imagination as solo. So far it’s been stable when using guy lines and having everything tied down.

Well made product, works great

Gotta say this thing is awesome and durable. Had it go through a few gnarly wind storms where it even flipped itself, yet the poles and bars are still ok and keep working (sadly the led light cord got severed and I had to do a dyi repair on it). Not sure if the cheaper ones on amazon are just as good, but I can attest to the quality of this one

Being a fan of overlanding, I've seen ARB awnings on most everything. I can tell you, this awning, it's downright incredible. Can be setup in a minute or two by one person. Mine is mounted to a half-ladder, kayak rack in the rear of my truck. We also have the ARB annex room, so within five minutes you have a huge room / tent setup. It's been on my truck for the past couple of years, and while the exterior cover doesn't look that great, the actual awning still looks like brand new. Make sure to let it dry completely, and never store wet. If you store wet, make sure to open it up when you arrive home or the very next day to completely air-dry.

I understand stuff happens but after waiting over a week to have this thing delivered (two days late) only to find it damaged was a HUGE let down. It also came with missing mounting bolts as well. 🙄

Love this awning however in the last rainstorm water collected in the canvas causing the extension rod to bend. Is there a way to order a new support pole.

Great kit but weak frame in downpours. Terrific with tent attachment.
