JOOFO LED Torchiere Floor Lamp with Remote, Stepless Dimmable Brush Nickel

I've been using this floor lamp in my home office for over a month now so I've had time to get used to its controls, the remote and generally the adequacy of its brightness. Overall I am happy with the lamp. The remote is nice because it is magnetic so I can "stick" it to a filing cabinet near my desk or a desk leg. I almost always use the remote now and find it very convenient. The switch on the lamp, and the buttons on the remote, are all easy to use, don't require excessive pressure to activate but also aren't so sensitive that they are too easy to change - they are about perfect in terms of ergonomic use. The lamp feels well built and sturdy, though it is minimalist in design and intentionally very thin. I happen to like that look, though not everyone will. At first, I was afraid it would be easily knocked over, but after a month or so, it seems well balanced and no easier to knock over than an older more traditional looking, though also stainless, lamp it replaced. I like the minimalist design that consumes less space in the room. It will bring out your inner Scandinavian! The three lamp color options are nice, but I always use the middle color temp setting so there's not much need to be able to change the temp. The tilting lamp head is nice, but since it can't be pointed downward to get more light on a work surface, there's really not much point in it. Ours is pointed straight up like a standard floor lamp would be and we've never moved it from there. There's nothing wrong with having features you don't use, but for the same price, I would have preferred they eliminate the color temp choice and tilting, and put more money into a brighter bulb - see below. The only shortcoming of the lamp is that it is not very bright. Anything other than the brightest setting wouldn't be useful for much more than as a night light or perhaps mood lighting in a larger room. At the brightest setting it gives off an adequate amount of light for most office uses, but just barely. Another 10-20W of light would be much nicer. I would prefer an LED lamp that would have enough light for reading or working in a home office at 70-80% maximum brightness, so there would be a little headroom for those task, or older eyes, when they needed just a little more light. Overall, I recommend this lamp. Some people with like the more incandescent lamp color or the harsher cold lamp color, and some may want the ability to tilt the head a bit, and be very satisfied with the overall brightness.

i just moved into a new house and my new room is pretty big i would say, it’s the size of a two car garage. i have no ceiling light in my room at all which sounds ironic but is true, i only have a ceiling fan. with that being said i bought this due to how people who also had no ceiling light said it helped them, so i bought it. i was still going to be prepared to buy another lamp since the lamps that we all know of typically don’t light up the whole room, just a small corner. the installation of this lamp was extremely easy, you have to just screw the poles together but they’re all pre-connected so you don’t even have to read the instructions. now, for the big part. upon using this lamp it lit up my WHOLE ROOM. yes, my whole room that’s a size or a two car garage. i was genuinely shocked as i didn’t expect this. i was honestly thinking it wouldn’t be that bright like people say so i was prepared to buy another one. now i don’t want to. this lamp literally lights up my entire room like a ceiling light. i maybe shouldn’t have doubted this lamp because this light source is extremely powerful. i also have the light tilted away from the ceiling, and it doesn’t hurt your eyes when you look in it. it’s literally just like a ceiling light but a regular lamp instead. i recommend this to anyone who’s interested in purchasing it, it genuinely is a very good lamp and extremely bright with a reasonable price.

Just moved to a new apartment and the bedrooms didn't have a light. Bought this to light up the bedroom. And it really lit up the bedroom! It worked so well that I went back to buy another one. Packaging: Nice and compact packaging without wasted space and material. One minor issue I found was that the styrofoam particles got stuck to the lamp which took me a about 5-7mins to clean-up - not a significant issue but will be great if that can be addressed so that the unpacking is lot cleaner. Assembling: Is a piece of cake to assemble. Everything fit in easily and smoothly. Function: This is the most important one. Happy to say it t works perfectly. My room is a 12feetX12feet and it really lit up the room. The dimmer both on the remote and stem is quite effective. For my room, I am keeping it a couple of notches below the maximum so that the light intensity is perfect. Look: I have modern minimalistic decor and this fit right in. Any surprises: The remote is very handy. I was pleasantly surprised that the remote has a magnet which I was able to stick to my door frame making it very convenient to turn on the light before entering the room. Nice touch! Do I recommend: I definitely recommend this product.

I enjoy using it. 10 out of 10. I ended up buying 2 for a single room which means it can be enhanced.

I really like this light. It was easy to assemble and looks really nice. It's heavy and looks and feels like a quality product. It's very bright and dimming works nicely. It would have been five stars except for two issues. The light at top tilts just fine but it won't stay perfectly horizontal. I wanted it to be in the horizontal position as it's shown in photos but it would always tilt a little which to me, made it look like it wasn't right. Not an issue if you want it tilted. A minor issue: the remote battery was completely dead. It's an odd size battery so I had to buy one. Overall, I'm happy with it. *Edit. Battery wasn't dead. I read in another review that is wrapped in thin cellophane. Dug it out of the garbage and found this to be true. Battery is fine.

Stupidly bright. I live in an apartment with very high ceilings with large windows letting in a lot of sunlight. I turn these on at night in the corner, and they light up my entire room as if it was during the day.

Very sharp looking, and indeed easy to put together...if I can, anybody can. Great bargain.

I bought this several times. One note - if electricity goes out, when it comes on the light turns on. I was out of town for a while and the light was on for weeks. They should change that setting, now I have to remember to unplug it. However, even on for weeks, no issues with the lamp or overheating.
