Q: Do these tubes come with Presta or Schrader valves??

Presta. Perfect Spare tube for XC MTB racing.

Q: Tried to use my tubolito for the first time on a ride. couldn't get it to hold air. leaked where the black valve screws on. anyone else have this?.

There's a tiny slotted disk that comes with the tubes. Use it as a wrench to (finger) tighten the black valve fully. Solved the problem for me.

Q: What tube patch kit should be used?

They sell their own special patch kit, regular patches don't work
