I'm new to Oribe, and I am finding you do often 'get what you pay for.'I bought this Oribe on sale, but it's still a little bit of a shock to receive such a small bottle for such a big price.However, it is a lovely shampoo. Makes my hair really soft but still has some volume too it -- doesn't make my baby fine hair go completely flat. Shiny, too.I used too much the first time--a little goes a very long way, so this 8.5 ounces will last me a while.I finished with an Oribe conditioner.Some Oribe products come in travel/sample sizes, but since this was on sale, it was the better bargain.Smells fresh and clean.I find I keep returning to this brand even though it hits my budget a little hard.

The shampoo is OK but not better than Panteen or other, less expensive, shampoo. The medicine smell can be a turn off. It doesn't really add volume to your hair. It does produce a nice shine. Since it is not a high lathering shampoo, you can use much less of it, so a bottle lasts a long time. All in all it's too expensive for what it delivers.

Yes, you pay more for a small bottle. But it actually goes a long way. I have fine hair, but I get great volume and soft hair. I have used 2 yrs. Highly recommend -worth the price

This is supposed to volumize my hair, but it does the opposite. Pantene volumizing shampoo is so much better and a fraction of the cost. I think this is due to the more "natural" surfactants Oribe uses. I don't think hey don't do a good enough job cleaning whereas Pantene uses sulfates which are superior cleaning surfactants (contrary to what people think, they are not irritating as long as another mild surfactant is used with it, which Pantene does), also Oribe uses an ingredient with silicone and also adds an oil, all which seem to weight down my hair, not volumize it. I had to use more of the Oribe than the Pantene to get even similar cleaning. I don't think this is worth the very high cost.

I have very fine hair made worse by menopause This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used. It’s amazing!! My 79 year old mother is also now a huge fan as well.
