RED DRAGON Bunker Buster 48g Tungsten Darts Set with Flights and Stems

I now have four sets of these darts. Very nice throw well and look good. I have 26, 30, 40, and 48gr. All nice darts I wish they came with a case only the 26gm came with a case.

I bought these darts on impulse (I'm an ordnance technician, so of course I couldn't resist the 'bunker buster'). I figured they'd at least be fun to throw around, and they are! I think that they are very well made, and the following cautions have nothing to do with the manufacture of the items, just the nature of the beast:Keep in mind these are HEAVY darts, and you will have to adjust your throw if you are used to more common weights. Also, I've only had them for day and thrown them for about an hour, and I've lost two shafts in the process, one aluminum (bent), and one carbon fiber (snapped). If you get these, keep in mind that the weight of the barrel alone will cause a lot more damage on a bounce out where a 'normal' weighted dart wouldn't cause any. Every time I have a bounce out, my heart skips out of fear of losing another shaft. Also, if the tip hits a concrete floor, have your sharpener ready.They have definitely been fun so far, and I actually look forward to using them as my primary set!

I do not really have any complaints. Other than you pay about $20 more on Amazon than you do from the manufacturer. But they are located in Europe. So I figured it's worth the extra money just because I'll have them in my hands in three days. But it's honestly just way too much weight. Save your money and go a little lighter. These will destroy your board. They are fun and your friend will want to try them out. I seem to get more bullseyes with them. You need to totally change your grip or they'll hit the board sideways! lol If you do not care about the money and just want to try them out. Then get them! But if you are thinking its going to be your new everyday dart. Id think again and go a little lighter...

I gave 5 stars for the company rather than these particular darts. In my collection, they're a curiosity. They're tied with a set of 26 gram brass darts for the largest by length and width, and they could still use some wider flights and a longer shaft, in I have a set of Red Dragon 30 gram I throw a lot more than these. I' have two sets of these, minus one that broke a tip off in the board. Red Dragon requested pictures of the broken one. I sent the pictures, and they immediately refunded my money AND sent me another set of darts. The white livery in the first picture pry came with my Red Dragon 30 grams. When I weighed the first 48s in their original accouterments, two of them tallied a tenth of a gram over on my scale. So I switched to the white on white plastic, and they came in at 49.9, 49.9 , and 49.8. My buddy "The Dresser" was with me when I picked up the mail that contained call him that lay "dress up the darts" as much as my six year old granddaughter. He's a lot better thrower than I am and he could put them where he wanted them. He threw a few quick warm ups, then hit the bull once in his first three rounds (nine} darts. He didn't get a bull on his fourth round, yet hit it twice on his fifth. The last photo shows that grouping. My best effort is in the other shot. Note how one sart leaves

I really like the feel of these darts. They are big and don't group as well as some but I throw way better with these over my 18 gram super Slim's. They don't seem to ad much more damage to my board than my other darts but I go through way more shafts and flights, honestly even the hardcore flights are only good for a few games if your grouping them. I would love to see this weight in higher density tungsten for a little less mass. Also with more designs.

These darts are heavy.. Very heavy.. I dropped one as I was opening and bent the shaft heavy.. When they hit it sounds like a bomb. Will destroy a dartboard quick. But they get attention..

These hit the dartboard like a missile. They're very fun to throw and accurate.I'm not too goot at darts however the 48 gram darts fly straight and stick.

Die Pfeile sind sehr schwer. Das ist aber kein negativer Punkt.Wer wenig Erfahrung hat sollte davon absehen.Den Preis finde ich grenzwertig. Dafür hätte ich wenigsten noch einen Satz Flights erwartet oder wenigstens ein Werbegeschenk.
