It works great I use it all the time and has most of the same options as my snap on scanner

Our family unit composes of seven vehicles of different ages and of different manufacturers; Toyota, Honda, Porsche, Mercedes Benz and BMW. The MS908S Pro comes with all the adapters and software necessary to correctly read, diagnose and reset any error or maintenance codes that appear. This tool goes beyond just engine related codes and can troubleshoot seats, sunroofs, windows, etc. An example of which was an Ozone Generator error code with my BMW that did not throw a check engine light, but was residing within the system. A quick search on the internet showed a BMW Service Bulletin to correct this problem, free of charge to the customer. Without this tool, I would have never known about the issue and the BMW dealership never mentioned this when they do their mandatory diagnostics. There is a little bit of a learning curve when using the MS908S Pro, of which Autel has excellent help videos and there are also excellent videos on the internet. I can highly recommend for a DIY’er or for just peace of mind with the ever increasing complexity of newer vehicles that contain multiple computer systems within their own internal connected CAN bus.

Has all the features and more than I need at a reasonable price. It can be used on pretty much any vehicle. I own a Mercedes, couple of Acura’s - RL and TL, and a Honda Odyssey. Already used it on the Mercedes and it was not difficult to navigate. Great product and a very responsive and helpful customer service.

Ease of use, and functionality are top notch. I used the device to reset my BMW 550i, and it worked great! Well worth the purchase.

I am very happy with autel scanner. I am hobbyist mechanic for my own cars. Autel Scanner was very helpful to diagnose my suburban 2004 transmission that was having some selenium codes therefore the scanner told me exactly what selenoid was faulty. Also it has awesome bidirectional controls that allowed me to troubleshoot the téchem for my transmission 6L80E on my suburban 2011. Without this scanner it will be almost imposible to activate all 6 selenoids of techem or transmision control module. I was able to as the selenoid click on and off from my driver seat, of course with the transmission pan removed and oil drained.

Spent months in the shop . Stuck in boot loop . Wasted time of my subscription. Slow or no response to emails . Cant do what OEM software can . Biggest waste of money . Only had it back for two months already stuck in boot loops a few times . Would never buy again or recommend .

I love my Autel computer. I can plug it into any vehicle and it will give me any error code that has been stored in the cars system. I can also monitor live data as the car is running to see if all things are in the parameters set by the factory... it’s also fast. One nice feature is you can monitor the vehicle from the outside..In other words make adjustments while under the hood with the computer by your side. With today’s cars a MUST.

This is a quality device at a good price. There are mainly three big name brands of comparable diagnostic scanners I looked at costing much more but not offering a significant advantage over this one. In fact between all the brands it seems while one may have a feature that another doesn't, the first one may lack some other feature the others do have and vice-versa. I feel this unit offers the best features for cost.
