Panasonic ES-RT37 Wet and Dry Rechargeable Electric 3-Blade Shaver for Men (100-240 V)

So this is the first time in 39yrs of shaving that I've strayed from remington shavers! Always in the past been pleased with them. But the last one i bought a few weeks ago has to be returned, terrible! Literally tugged hairs out causing bleeding. So, I looked seriously too replace with a different brand, and after research and reviews I chose this Panasonic model. I am very impressed! It's light, but feels good quality, cuts the hairs effortlessly, no pain or irritation even against the grain. So far i have only praise for this product. And such a great price! Just to update, after having it several weeks now, I can agree with some other reviews, the battery doesn't last long, I need to charge it weekly. All the remingtons I've previously had last several weeks, but it's a minor inconvenience so I'm still happy with it. Sadly after may weeks now, the battery life is getting annoying, 3 or 4 days is it's limit, not good enough Remington. Great shaver but crap battery!

Surprisingly good for the very low price. I had little expectancy but I am surprised because although it is not the fastest razor on the market, and the shave is not that close - so sometimes I have to shave twice in a day, for just £21.99 it does leave me with a very smooth face (for a while). I would say to pay more and expect better.

I have given this shaver 5 stars because: 1. It is well made. 2. It shaves my beard extremely closely whilst being gentle to my skin. 3. It is very easy to hold whilst shaving. 4. It currently is incredibly good value. I have had just about all makes of electric shaver over the years ending up with a Braun series 5 shaver. After a few years the battery in the Braun has started to fade, hence the reason for a change. When looking for a shaver I used the following criteria. Read the reviews. Choose a well-known manufacturer. Look at the net weight of the item; generally the heavier it is the more solidly made. Don’t regard a longer running time as always being a good thing; it might just be a lower powered motor has been fitted. Check the availability and cost of replacement parts. 2nd March 2026 Further comment. Since purchase and first fully charging I have used this shaver for 24 days without having to re-charge. As an initial test I recorded the total minutes I have used the shaver before re-charging. So far the figure is 55mins and 10seconds and there is still life in the battery. The specification states 54 minutes. In conclusion the battery life is very good.

Purchased to replace my ES-SL41shaver after several years of very good service needed replacement blades and cheaper to buy this. O delivery battery was dead so charged for long time but noticed charging light never went off and would not hold charge for more than a day. Contacted Panasonic with difficulty and they offered a replacement but threatened to charge me for it if I did not send old one back, took over a month for them to confirm my return! New one better and charging light goes out after couple of hours but despite low usage only lasts a few weeks. One infuriating fact is that it is working one day then the next is completely flat with no indication of battery state so if you have just put cream on your face then find it dead, I have to find my old shaver as it will not work while being charged. Forced to put it in bin and buy a better brand and pointless trying to return

Firstly this is £29 which is a crazy price. If you are a guy over 50 then you'll remember buying electronics in the 80s /90s when Japan ruled the world in that regard, before the Asian cheap crap we get now! Well this shaver takes me back to the 80s, the quality is simply superb (which I expect from Panasonic), it fits the hand perfectly with rubberised sides that give perfect grip (wet or dry). My hair is black so it's really thick but this cut through like butter. The edge trimmer just slides and locks in place and trims perfectly, then slides and locks back in place (auto stopping the blades) perfect. Everything is solid and smooth, this is a quality product, the way it should be. Can't speak for the battery longevity, but it took a good 2 hours to fully charge out of the box, this is a good sign that the battery is taking a healthy charge. Be sure to lubricate the foil and side trimmer before you use it, I personally do this every time before using, it really does keep the blades in good condition and they will last longer. Ps you will need a 2 pin to UK plug adaptor, I get mine from pound l, no biggie. Seriously give this a try, £29 I feel like I've stolen it! Pps,,,, I've ordered another one!

Reasonable shaver for the price, but not the closest of shaves & I don’t have the thickest stubble. Closer shave if you use an oil. Can be used for wet shaving too, but might as well use a razor blade. Would be good shaver for somebody just starting to shave. Battery lasts about a week & there is no indication of remaining charge. You can shave one day & next day it will be dead & require a charge. Fortunately it has a 5 min quick charge, full charge an hour. In hindsight should have gone for next model up, slightly more expensive but more blades & charge indicator. Will probably do that when these blades wear out.

I purchased this shaver for £28.99 on offer with 71% off the so called RRP. In summary, I thought it was such a bargain that having used it for the first time, with complete satisfaction, I immediately purchased a second one! My expectations were low for such a low priced shaver. However, I felt that it performed as well as previous shavers, which cost me significantly more. Please bear in mind that I only every use electric shavers in wet mode, never dry, so my experience relates to shaving with gel and water. This shaver ticks a lot of boxes for me because: 1) Its motor has plenty of power. 2) It gives a nice close shave. 3) It does not cause me skin irritation, despite me having skin that is very sensitive to shaving and susceptible to shaving rashes etc. 4) Unlike some other leading brands, its foil is easily removed to expose the blades for through and very easy cleaning. 5) It has a two pin plug which I prefer over the USB charging types. Why buy 2 you might ask? My previous two (more expensive) shavers from Panasonic and Braun, lasted 13 months (used daily for wet shaves). Both succumbed to on/off switch failure in month 13. Perhaps water had entered the internals, but I will never know. However at the price of this item, I will be happy if it lasts a year and is then replaced with a new one with the benefits of fresh foil and blades etc. All in all, I am delighted with my purchase.

Really impressed with this shaver. Very ergonomic feel and looks good. I would give it 5 stars but for it has a plug in charger and specific charging plug which is a bit of a let down seeing as everything is USB charging now. It’s extremely comfortable and a great close shave, I use it around my neck and cheeks, detailing my beard. I have very tough stubble and it handles it perfectly no tugs or pulls. It has an excellent extendable edge trimmer that is very neat and precise. The shaver has a storage/travel cover that cleverly covers the on/off button to prevent accidental start up. All in all it’s really excellent and I feel bad taking a star off its ratting because it’s such good quality overall. My acid test of a product is when I ask myself the question “if this went missing/ broke in the morning should I have a second one as back up?” The answer is definitely yes.

Great pop up trimmer newer models don't have the trimmer

Nulla da dire del rasoio perché non l'ho nemmeno provato, il problema è il caricatore che ha i puntali troppo grossi che non passano nelle normali prese UE. Purtroppo il reso non è semplice come al solito, è più laborioso. A sto punto ho comprato un caricatore a parte e me lo tengo così 🤷🏻‍♂️ Vi sconsiglio l'acquisto per non ricadere nel mio stesso problema
