Does the paint come off after several washing?

We use pot and pan wash cycle on our dishwater, so it is both hot and "rough" but the paint remains intact and in good shape...that being said, we don't use it that often, maybe three or fours times at the holidays and then put it away for next year. We hope this helps you!
