600 Mechanical Pencil | 0.7 mm | Red All-Metal Body | Non-Slip Knurled Grip & Hexagonal Barrel

This pencil feels really solid, and the matt finish and the grip feel great. It's the same basic design and build quality as my rOtring rapid PRO which I've had for 15 years, but slimmer and shorter. At first I thought it must be lighter as well, but in fact it's nearly the same (my scales measure 22g vs 23g for the rapid PRO). I think it's because the weight distribution is better, being less back-heavy, so it doesn't feel like it's going to tip backwards out of your fingers. If money was no object, I'd replace all our mechanical pencils with this one.

Looks as gorgeous as it feels and feels as quality as it looks. I think the weight is about perfect, the action is smooth and reliable and it feels like it was a pretty good price for this quality.

Very nice pencil, that feels very high quality and durable. Seems to write well and the led doesn’t break easily. I got a green and it’s actually quite striking! I got drawn in by the reviews and whilst it is a good pencil, it’s just that, a pencil. So I would say it is quite expensive which is why I have knocked a star off.

Have used these for years and love the weight and feel to them. Always write in pencil and this writes well, though on thin paper may rip through. - got in Prime Sales but still good value

Seen this on offer and sucummbed to the temptation! It is pricy but when it is on offer it is ideal. I like Rotring pens/pencils and I find that they are nice to write with. The only problem I have had with previous pencils is that the nib mechanisim seems to fail with me. Bit early for this one but I'm hoping the 600 works with no issues and lasts me a long time. The pencil is all metal and has a nice weight/feel to it with the weight more towards the nib. The gnarled surface at the nib end is just the right size when holding it. I bought the 0.5mm which I prefer to write with. At the other end it has a rotator selector for different types of lead; 2H, 4H, 2B, B, HB, F, H. I guess you select these depending on the size of lead you end up putting in it. I bought the green, it is quite dark which is great - could be describes as a forest green? I liked it so much I ended up buying a 600 pen to go with it.

Excellent product! My only problem will be keeing it safe from those who like it too much.

Este lapicero Rotring me sorprendió gratamente cuando vi que estan fabricados en Japón, ya que estoy coleccionando portaminas hasta ahora tengo 18 lapiceros todos japonéses, entre ellos marcas como Pentel, Zebra, Staedtler(tambien hecho en JP) y ahora se une este Rotring. Aunque la marca sea alemana como Staedtler se fabrican en JP. Esto es un sinónimo de gran calidad en construcción, es una pieza impecable de manufactura. Ahora hablando del diseño, si eres de los que ocasionalmente tomas el lapicero de la parte media, la diferencia entre la parte cilíndrica y la hexagonal tendrán algo de incomodidad. En la parte del agarre es algo raro, está muy delgado (parte cilíndrica con textura) en la foto donde la comparo con otros 2, verán esto que les menciono. En lo personal es cómoda para escribir, es pesada(pro/contra para algunos), todas las partes exteriores son de aluminio, aunque solo hay un pero, si eres de los que giran el lapicero para escribir/dibujar el clip puede estorbar algunas ocasiones, ya que su posición está más baja que de costumbre(por el indicador de dureza). El color azul me agrado mucho ya que por lo regular los portaminas premium son color aluminio, algo de color para que la colección sea mas colorida. El azul es anodizado, por lo que se ve color azul metálico (en mi opinión se ve hermoso contraste perfecto con la serigrafia roja de la marca y modelo). El precio se me hace algo elevado, 500 pesos(en descuento) creo que es algo elevado su precio, la de color aluminio la he visto en 400 algo mas acorde del producto. Un ejemplo de calidad precio son los Pentel Graphgear 1000 puedes encontrarlas desde 150 pesos y la calidad de construcción es la misma que esta Rotring. Otro aspecto importante es que tiene la graduación de dureza de las minas.
