My whole life I have struggled with canker sores on my lips every time I go into the sun. It usually happens every summer when I am on vacation. I take the lysine supplement, which helps, but have not been able to find a topical product that helps heal until I ordered this lip balm. It goes on smoothly, does not have an aftertaste, and soothes my lips. It seems to help with the healing. I will be a forever fan!

I have tried many other brands of lip balm but they each caused irritation and breakouts. I am glad that I discovered this brand several years ago. Back then, I also took the pills of the same name everyday to help with outbreaks. I don't take the pills nearly as frequently anymore but using this balm seems to be sufficient for me. I also have decreased my L-citrulline and Arginine (pre workout) usage, which I discovered to be extremely triggering. This balm is very moisturizing in a slightly petroleum jelly type of way, so there is a shine there after applying. I love this thickness about it because I don't need to use so much nor re-apply it frequently. I also use it in my nose because I have sinus issues which constantly has me wiping my nose with tissue. Using this has drastically reduced the level of inflammation that I used to have in my nose and eliminated outbreaks in there. I keep this stuff stocked and I have others now only using it, once they've tried some.

I always keep this product on hand whether I need it or not. It's a solid product and I definitely think it helps reduce the time, if you are early enough nips it in the bus(no pun intended) I also like that it's more affordable than Abreva which I never had luck with. I use this product and my favored OTC for pain and swelling (if it gets that far). Better results than anything more expensive.

Literally the only thing that stops a cold sore before they can even surface! And if it surfaces before you can use it, it stops them from growing instantly! Have been using this brand for more than a decade now. I have recommended it 100s of times over the years and everyone says the same-stuff works like magic!

Like this balm. Helps cold sores but does not prevent them.
