50 Pound Benseal Bentonite Drilling Mud Water Well Pond Foundation Seal Waterproof Baroid Grouting Wyoming Sodium Bentonite

I used this for my sanitary seal (casing grout) on a water well. Mixed 6% by weight with Portland 'neat' cement. Your local regulations will show you how much to use by code. If you use too much it may weaken the cement and too little won't make a stickie waterproof seal.

I have used several bags but my pond still leaks but I don't know if is the fault of this as others use it and it works. I tend to think it's my liner although they are new.

AI and other sources say Bentonite clay will stop leaking in ponds. I'll see. The delivery of this heavy bag of cement-like material was as good as can be expected and was done very quickly.

Product works when used right. Too expensive to be practical. I paid 103 for a 50 lb bag. I found a well drilling man that sold me 50 lb bags for 25.00 each I just had to go get it. Find a well drilling person in your area. Keep in mind it will NOT work on top of a plastic liner. It has to mix with the soil regardless what someone tells you to make the sale.

It worked for me, stopped a small leak in my pond

I had a football size hole in my spring fed pond that was draining water as fast as it was entering. I covered the hole with a 5'x5' patch of Bentonite mixed with soil and it worked perfectly. Amazing result and an easy fix!

The product dont work for me, my pond is still leaking.
