There was a step in the instructions missing, but luckily I've put enough furniture together that I knew what to do. We bought 2 of these and put them next to each other in our home office. They look great!

Love this bookcase with file drawers. It took me a couple hours put together but the instructions were easy to follow and there were actually a couple of extra parts per bag which was nice to have. I did not use the handles that came with it because they were plastic. I did buy some nice blue site polished chrome and it looks wonderful with my white desk. It is a sturdy piece once you are finished with it and has some weight to it. I am very happy with it and would buy it again

Love the look of this piece of furniture. I purchased the matching desk. It is light weight with not the greatest quality but does the job. Easy to install and easy to move around due to the light weight

Arrived very well packaged without any damage, a huge plus for items like this. Assembly was simple and instructions (3 pages) were clear and easy to follow. Big plug for including a screw-driver. Every screw/bolt arrives with 2 extras in case something is lost. Every part fit well and there were no problems with assembly. One thing to pay attention to are the large screwes used to attach evetything. They are cheap, very soft and easy to strip -- BE CAREFULL WITH APPLYING TORQUE.

Love this piece of furniture. It's sturdy and high quality. I bought other pieces of furniture from Tribdesigns and really like their stuff. Perfect for my office. My husband had it put together quickly. I'd buy from this group any time.

First of all, the support phone number in the instruction packet and on the website is not in service at the time of this review. The phone number provided provided when you request support within the Amazon app plays a recorded message that “this phone number may have changed” and then redirects to a call center where they answer the phone with “Rewards Center.” They want your personal information, and to send you gift cards. So I’m going to say, there is no longer any support available from this company. On to the product itself. I can’t assemble it as the very first step is to tighten some screws into a panel. However, the panel that is to receive said screws is missing the plastic inserts on half of the screw holes. These inserts are threaded on one side to receive the screws. Without the inserts, you can’t tighten the screws, and therefore can’t get past the first two steps in the assembly instructions. I requested replacement panels through product support within the Amazon app, so we’ll see where that goes. If I do get replacements, or at least the inserts, I’ll update this review at that time. As of right now, I cannot recommend that anyone purchase this filing cabinet as it came with faulty parts and their support seems to be in disarray or completely gone. Edit on January 10, 2024 It seems the support number might only be active during certain times of the day as later in the day I was able to get through. The phone support however directed my to send an email. Communication over email is slow, as it seems they typically respond about once per day. I am now awaiting replacement parts, which will take about 15 days. I'll update my review once I receive the replacement parts to reflect my overall experience. Bumping up to 3 stars for now as I was able to eventually connect with support and they should be sending me what I need to finish assembling the file cabinet.

Easy assembly. Sturdy, and beautiful! Got this for my home office.

I purchased this, hoping it would look good, even though it was going in my guest bedroom/office "closet". I needed a file cabinet and storage in one, and really wanted something on casters for moving it around in the future, in case I change locations in the house. The box is HEAVY and the outside of it was pretty beat up. I was scared about the condition of the pieces inside, and when we opened it to find a major lack of "packaging" material, I really became nervous. Needless to say, everything was intact, except busted up foam pieces everywhere. Then, hubby got it put together in only 45 minutes, and complained about the poor instructions - stating they were the "worst" he's ever dealt with. He only made one small mistake with assembly (one shelf was put in upside down). It was an easy fix after removing the drawers and loosening a few of the locknut connectors and screws. Overall, I love the look of it, and it is MUCH sturdier than I imagined it would be - hence the weight of it! I can't give 5 stars because my biggest issues is the metal bars for the file drawers. The file folders drag on the bottom of the drawer, even filled with folders. The hanging files just don't "hang" because the metal cross bars are located 1/4-1/2" too low (predrilled holes). The file drawers are still useable, and an upgrade to the height level on those would make this a 5 star purchase all the way. I'm satisfied, regardless.
