I purchase this case for my Note 10.1 2014 Ed. Please read full review.
I was vexed and angry that I could not locate a thin, slim, compact keyboard for my Note 10.1 2014 Ed. I read through all the reviews for this case designed for the Galaxy Tab 3 and one reviewer said he made it work. Thanks a lot unLogitech for not making a keyboard for the Note 10.1 2014 Ed. It's a good thing I'm not anal and didn't care about destroying this beautiful and well designed keyboard case not meant for my tablet! Ok, rant over... If you have the Note 10.1 2014 Ed this case can work. My case arrived in good condition but DOA so I had to charge it up. I am writing this review with the keyboard and I am LOVING it. The keyboard is a bit cramped but it is something that one can get used to unless you just need a full sized keyboard. It paired easily without me having to download the app from Logitech. The keyboard is a standard keyboard with two shift keys, FN for extras like volume and special Android keys for Androidy stuff. Yes, I said Androidy. And it has arrow keys!!! That right there is just magical! Now for the fix. One reviewer was right on the money about removing part of the bracket for the Note 10.1 2014 Ed. The case is NOT a snug fit but it will work if you're not too OCD about the fit. I cut it until I could bend it out of place enough to break off. Now I can remove the S-Pen with no hassle. It does slip out of the broken bracket but I will just velcro it in place...easy peasy. The case itself is well designed and I did feel a little aggrivated for having to ruin it to make my tablet fit...but it is what it is. It folds flat and covers the keyboard which I like and the magnets as far as I can tell don't reek havoc on the S-Pen function while in the case. That's a plus. The case has a smooth plactic shell that is tough feeling. I do think if the Tab 3 10.1 was in here it would protect it well from a fall. That is gone since I had to retrofit the case for my Note 10.1 2014 Ed. It's a good thing I don't drop my tablets. Ha, ha, ha, no. The Note 10.1 2014 Ed stays in place well for the most part. The base of the stand has a magnet that attaches itself to the keyboard. So the tablet stays at the right angle for typing and does not slip out. I am typing on the bed and it is staying in place well. There is no opening for charging while the case is closed so the tablet will need to lay flat on the keyboard to charge. For such a well made case that is a design oversight. Someone at Logitech needs to be fired!!! The tablet does lay flat against the keyboard when the case is closed and is slimmer than my M-Edge case in profile. And it is sleek looking even though not really designed for my tablet. So if you're just as mad at Logitech for not making such a nice keyboard case for the Note 10.1 2014 and don't mind a modification of this case go and order yours. As of this date it's $20 and worth the destruction to get a case that's thin and fits. I'm not taking away any stars because the case is really a good case. If you have a Tab 3 10.1 this is the best case for the money.

Exactly what I've beeen looking for....
This is the first keyboard I've found that works properly with my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition tablet. I've purchased and returned several keyboard cases. The only drawback to this one is it doesn't have a mousepad, and I'm not sure how to do the same mousepad functions with the keyboard. The tablet actually fits snug in this case without coming loose easily. It's not a perfect fit, but it's tight enough that when held upside down for a few seconds it doesn't fall out. It was very easy to pair and connect to my tablet. Within minutes of taking it out of the box I was using the keybpard. ALL of the shortcut/function keys work which is awesome! I would definitely recommend this keyboard folio case. It seems to be more sturdy and well made than other cases i've used. The keyboard is smaller obviously, but the keys are larger and gives you the feel of a standard size keyboard. I love this keyboard! I will definitely purchase more logitech products in the future.

Great Android Folio at a Super Price
I purchased this Folio to replace two different Bluetooth keyboards I was using on my android 10" Pad. Both the previous K.B's failed for one or more reasons both were more expensive and neither supplied any support to allow the pad to stand freely, they required separate stands for the pad and it was always falling out of the stand or being knocked over by my clumsiness. Both previous keyboards the letters wore off. This Logitech Folio Supports the pad fully and locks it in place and makes it one very neat package for transporting. The keyboard works beautifully, the letters do not wear off, the Folio itself is well made and nice looking and feels like leather. The one minor complaint I have is not being able to charge the pad while using the keyboard in the upright position. Charging the pad can be done by using the pad in the flattened out position but that really defeats the purpose and usefulness of the Folio. Overall a fine product and one I enjoy very much and you just can't beat the price.

Good Quality and feel.
Pairs right up with my Samsung Tab A. Feels good. Works very well. Turn on predictive text on you tablet and your tablet will process the keystrokes faster. The one thing that confused me is that shortly after I got it I tried to put my son on a video call with his guitar teacher. I folded the keyboard behind it and leaned it up against something. We could not figure out why it wouldn't work. Short story is this. When it is folded behind the tablet seems to think it is closed. If you have a mysterious non responsiveness from your tablet this may just be it. To be fair, its not intended to be used that way anyhow. I really love it though. Helps me keep up when taking notes at a meeting.

Doesn't fit Galaxy 10.1" tablet..... Still a four star product, just not for me
Doesn't fit my galaxy 10.1" tablet. It lags when you type.. Because it's much smaller than normal keyboards it takes a while to learn where all the keys are at.. Its almost hard to try to type using 8 fingers. I love logitech products, but I certinaly won't be keeping this one.. I imagine that it could be great for some who hardly uses their device, however I'm not one of those people. Constantly on my galaxy , thought this keyboard/case who be a good everyday product, sadly it wasn't. It is still a GREAT product, for an even greater price :)

Great product, great price.
This was for an older Samsung Galaxy Tab III tablet. Perfect fit, solid base (won't crumple up if you put it on your lap), snug fit. My ONLY gripe is that there isn't an access port where the charger would connect -- the placement of the charger port was just poor on Samsung's part, but Logitech should've anticipated this and put in an opening. Otherwise, works great, and if you can get it for less than $21 (which I did here), then you can bring your three- or four-year-old Galaxy Tab III back to life again.

Keyboard works great, Not so good as a cover
I tried one of the less expensive cover/keyboard and returned it for several reasons. I kept this one, but just barely. The Good: The cover is very well built and looks like it will last a while. The keyboard works great and the Android specific keys are a major plus. The App that you can optionally install seems to work very well also. The keyboard is well laid out and the keys give good feedback when typing. Connectivity was a snap and battery life seems more than acceptable to me. The Bad: This thing will exactly double the weight of your device. You don't realize what a difference that makes until you put them together. You go from 1 to 2 pounds. This part is not Logitech's fault, but the Galaxy Tab 3 has the charging port on the bottom but should be coming out of the side. If you add this Samsung design defect to this cover, it means you can not charge and use the device at the same time when propped up on the stand. That is completely ridiculous! The Ugly: You can not charge the device with the cover closed (tablet protected) because Logitech didn't put a hole in the cover. This inexcusable design flaw can be overcome with a steady hand and an X-Acto knife. I created a square hole in the cover to accommodate the charger. It takes a lot of lining up, but mine came out perfectly. When using certain charging cables, the plastic the tablet snaps into stops the cable from going into the tablet all the way. This second design flaw from Logitech can be corrected with a steady had and a dremmel tool to remove some of the plastic that sticks out over the charging port. On the other end of the cover/keyboard the plastic that holds the tablet in covers half of the IR emitter. So if you want to use your device as a TV remote, it has to be held just right. The worst part of this device is that if you flip the cover/keyboard open 180 degrees, half the time you can't type on the on screen keyboard because the cover/keyboard magnets make the device thinks its closed. Or worse, you unlock it and the two halves touch and it locks and turns off the tablet again. (Yes I know this feature can be turned off on the tablet) Overall: I kept the device because it is well made (but not well thought out), I was able to customize it to overcome design flaws, and after I customized it I couldn't return it. Half the problems above wouldn't be an issue of Samsung put the charging port on the side. But I have to assume if Logitech sells a cover/keyboard for this specific device, that should have at least tried it first. But in the end propped up and used in conjunction with a BT mouse, its like having a very portable / convertible laptop. And that was my goal.
