Fresh good date.

Time and time again this spice company's products are top notch. I have ordered various chili powders, spices and herbs over the years and all have been of consistant excelent quality, This whole fennel seed is no different. It is aromatic and flavorful. It is also fresh, it was delivered on 5/18/25 with an experation date of 12/31/ 2026. There is only whole seed in the packet, no broken seed nor other organic material like stems. They also sell ground fennel for those who don't like seeds. It too has the same high quality.Highly Recommend!

The seeds look fresh and a good amount in the package. The description did say gluten free, but when I received the package there was no indication - so I contacted the company and they quickly confirmed they may not be gluten free. If that isn't an issue for you, these look nice and fresh, were a good price, and the company seems quite on the ball with communication.

Unlike some pre-packaged spices that often lose their potency over time, these whole seeds maintain their vibrant flavor and aroma. I found them to be fragrant without any musty or stale undertones, indicating that they are indeed freshly sourced. The aroma and flavor are at the top of my must have list with fennel seeds as I primarily use them for tea, specifically tummy tea. I have found this is one of the best brands for tea although, their use for culinary is endless. A must have for everyone's pantry.
