Downloaded DC Home App version 1.8.29 to run on IOS with iPhone 6s, app failed to launch everytime. Please fix it ASAP Update on Dec 1st 2023 DC Home App Version 1.8.30 for IOS was released on Nov30-2023, still failed to launch everytime. Previous App version from several months back works for BT-1, now the new versions don't work for BT-1 & BT-2. Is there anyway I can go back to old release? By the way, Renogy BT from over a year ago still works for both BT-1 & BT-2 Update on Dec 24th 2023 DC Home App Version 1.8.31 for IOS was released on Dec20th-2023, now works on iPhone6 like a charm. Thanks!!! Now requesting improvements: 1. Can we have status update rate as a user option down to every 1 sec rather than once every 30 secs? Would be really nice to see constant update instead of waiting 30 sec when testing solar panel setup 2. I know there is a swipe down & release for manual update, but that change the status info display position and is a pain to scroll screen when your hands are not free. Can we have a smaller animated solar/charger/battery section, reduce the blank space in the "battery info" & "solar info" sections so that you see main status of interest without screen scrolling? Right now I am still using Renogy BT App for setup testing, and that App is not stable.

Make sure you have the controller that uses RJ45 connector (the ethernet size)...

*Update 2026* Renogy continues to push social features and continues to lock those devices to requiring internet access. I use the app to check my power only a few times a year and EVERYTIME I am logged out due to login expiring. That means I cannot use this device without near constant internet. I wish I had never bought any Renogy equipment. Their app claims that once you login you can use the app offline but that is simply a lie - eventually your login will expire whether you are online or offline. It does not matter and then you will not be able to use their app until you get back online to login. This does not workwithout a working internet connection. If you create an account the app claims that it will work over Bluetooth, and won’t require you to login again. This is a LIE. I just turn on the app after successfully setting it up a few months ago. The app said Token failed and requires me to login. If I were out camping I would be dead in the water. This also means it will fail to work once their servers go offline. You don’t need auth to read me the battery status. I camp once a month and it has never stayed connected. This last time it was working fine for a few minutes and despite my phone having no internet it logged me out in the middle of using it. And, of course, I could not login since I had no internet. Do not buy. Return if you still can. Rent claims they have updated the app to not require an internet connection but this too is a lie. They require that you are logged in, and your login token can expire while you are offline which leaves you no way to use the app when off grid.

Added this to my power management system for easy management and configuration. Functionality was perfect for management from the app. Very durable and easy to mount.

Range is very limited and connection seems to be hit and miss (used two different phones). Functionality is great (options).
