Best pool cue tip repair/maintenance tool

Best tip tool out there
Although the price has gone up from when I bought it, it's still the best tip tool, and that included the old metal last 4 ever tool I had which is a distant second now since the burnisher does not fit even 12.5 mm shafts very well so 1/3rd of the tool is useless. Burnisher works well on all tip sizes (most shafts I use and work on for friends are 12.5 mm or less), the shaping surface is amazing, it cuts through tips cleanly and easily, much better than sandpaper or the larger metal scraping surfaces some other tools have. The tip pick insert that covers the burnisher hole is a bit hard to keep in, but it does stay in with a bit of a push and twist.

Great tool for shaping and setting up a new pool cue tip
We bought this when our new pool cue tip broke off after the first use. Having never used one of these tools before, I found it pretty easy to figure out. There are also plenty of online videos and resources to help you along. Great essential tool if you own a pool table.

Cutting strips are just a foil material
I will say the pros on this product: the gadget is solid.. the cutters are sharp..the size should fit in most bags. Cons: the cutter sheets are just a foil type material. so after some use they will be worn out and the tool loses function.. If they offered replacement parts that would be better.. The pricking points for softening the leather tips is made from a plastic type compound.. All my others are steel.. I am returning the product as it is not a good value. Update.. I failed to return this.. I decided to use it.. I replace tips at home.. no lathe.. So tools are important.. I am raising my review from 2 to the stars

By far the best bang for ya buck
I've been consistently playing pool for over 30 years and this is by far the best tip tool I've personally ever owned. I usually have the pro at the pro shop inside my local joint do all my work but now I do the regular maintenance myself with this. Impressed enough that this is the first online review I've ever done.

I did receive the item in perfect shape and with a fast delivery. after unpack the item I inspected the item and was very satisfied about the used material and the way it was made, however, up to now I as not able to test the item to the full, but I am pretty sure it will do what it is have to do in a good to most likely perfect way.
