2021 Daily Planner by AT-A-GLANCE, 5" x 8", Small, DayMinder, Basic, Black (SK460021)

I've been using this format of At-a-Glance for more than 25 yrs. It is Item SK46-00 or search on Amazon as SK460021 with the year as the last two digits. It is perfect for my needs, but of course there is room for improvement. The most important improvement would be to give Sundays a full calendar page like all the other days. Why does Sunday get short-changed into a mere 4 lines at the bottom of Saturday? That has never made any sense. Also, at the back of the book it would be nice to have a couple of lined (but otherwise blank) pages for misc. notes. I currently use the "Phone Numbers" page for that. For over 25 yrs. I've been buying tabs for the months so I can navigate easily through the book. It would be nice if the tabs were already included, but without sacrificing the width of the pages.

Overall, for the price, the daily appointment book does its job. The page layout is fine and the size is just right. My preference would be for a stiffer cover and tear-off corners for each page to more easily find where I am/was. A stiffer cover would make for easier writing when holding the book on my knee. Instead, I have to brace on a table or on my closed iPad. I use this item to keep track of major daily headlines and the stock market closings, not for appointments. So, it is a journal of sorts. Since Covid set in I also enter, in brief, where I have been during the day.

I use this planner every day, and carry it everywhere. It is indestructible, and I have purchased one of these for at least the last five years. And will continue to do so.

I have stacks of this same daily planner, I write down my daily events each night. This planner has saved MANY arguments from happening - when someone wants to argue when a certain event happened in my family - I have proof. I only wish this particular planner was available to order in December instead of weeks into January. I have to get another planner that is not the one I want, then when THIS planner arrives, I have to transfer all the information from one to the other. Waste of time.

I used to get the looseleaf daily planner refills from At-a-Glance (for the past 30+ years) but they discontinued them, so I hunted all over for a clean, simple, spacious-enough daily planner that didn't have the time restraints in it. I would prefer that this had Saturday and Sunday on their own separate pages (on this one, Sunday is a one-inch afterthought at the bottom of Saturday's page). But other than that, it's a good fit for my needs, used in conjunction with a monthly calendar.

On the page for Saturday there are only four lines at the bottom of that page for Sunday. All other days have a full page and the four lines at the bottom of each page is for Evening. So if you need a full page for Sunday this appointment book does not have one.

I purchase this same daily planner every year. I like that it is large and has a full separate page for each day - except Sunday which has its own small box at the bottom of the Saturday page. The spiral binding allows for easy flipping of the pages so you can fold the planner over and have just a single day showing. A small monthly calendar at the top of each page is helpful. All-in-all, a nice, basic daily planner that gets the job done. I shopped around and this was the best price at the time of my purchase.

This seems very sturdy and I really like the untimed day-per-page feature. Looks vaguely vintage. Sturdy. The paper is quite thin. Markers bleed through a bit. If that bothers you this is not for you. Sunday is very small. If that bothers you this is not for you.
