WF8643 PAN U

I purchased several of these for a basement remodel from another version because they were cheaper and could not understand why there was such a price difference between vendors. After a week or so, they arrived and I installed them but found I needed a couple more and in a hurry. I ended up purchasing the final two from this vendor because I knew that I would receive them pretty quickly. Although the others I purchased were fine, these were a much thicker gauge of metal making them more solid. The cheaper ones bend easily as well as slightly sag from the weight of the fixture if they are not suspended tightly. If I did it over again I would probably purchase all of them from here as it is a much better quality product.

These lack any pressed designs into the plate for added rigidity nor any lip along the open sides for support. These wobble/wiggle, bow, and bend with any slight touch. The other options I saw would have made a better choice. The one thing I do like are the 4 screws which are a good universal option since most junction boxes have holes for mounting. But these are absolute junk unless these will be mounted above a ceiling which will provide additional support.
