Have no clue as to where they are manfactured, but they are NOT worth the money! Totally worthless in my opinion.

What is the maximum amount of ground coffee that the container can hold?

I can't say how much ground coffee it holds, but with the vacuum disc inside, it will take about ¾ of a 16oz bag of unground beans. If you don't want to use the vacuum seal disc inside of it, the container can hold a full 16oz bag of unground beans. Hope that helps
