This thing came through in the clutch!! Installed a Pioneer head unit in my 2016 Tacoma and the adapter that I got with the Crutchfield wire harness wasn’t the right one. Ordered this bad boy and a couple days later I was charging my phone with ease. Looks so much better that the usb chord hanging out of the dash. Super easy to install and well worth the money!!

Bought this to retain the center console USB port after replacing the head unit in a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i Limited. The original factory head unit was Clarion, which, I suspect, is the more important factor than the actual make/model of the vehicle. Perfect fit, center console USB works perfectly with new head unit, and I saved $5 vs. a certain other crutchy vendor.

This thankfully worked to retain my factory USB connections after I installed a Kenwood aftermarket radio in my ‘15 Civic. This was a pretty simple plug and play install. Be aware if you have multiple OEM usb connections in your car you will need multiple usb retention cables for each as well as multiple usb connectors on your aftermarket radio.

Fits perfectly for a 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited to allow the use of the factory USB port with an aftermarket head unit. Initially I purchased another adapter (Metra AX-TOYUSB-2), however it was a different connector/pin configuration than the connector on the car. This adapter (PAC USB-TY1) worked perfectly. One caveat- when I first connected it, Android Auto was not pairing correctly to my radio (continuously complained about trying a different USB cable). I repositioned this adapter behind the head unit so any powered lead crossed it at 90° and twisted the USB cable the other way and that solved my issue

Works well the center of the gray side moved around a bit that I did not like fixed with some marine heat shrink just slip it over and shrink it over the small section and cable and holds firm since it has glue.

Used this cable to retain the function of the factory center console USB port after installing a Grom Audio VLine VL2 in a 2016 Acura MDX. Can now plug iPhone or Android phone into factory USB port for CarPlay or Android Auto on VLINE system. Does just what I needed it for.

Installed on a toyota rav4 2016 to retain factory usb with a aftermarket radio. Works as intended, android auto works fine with it.

Works perfectly fine with pioneer system and Honda br-v.
