I always have at least two of these on hand
I made an expensive mistake years ago by not having an extra capacitor lying around when the one in my air conditioner would go bad. Now, I always keep a couple available for when I noticed my house is getting warm in the summer. It's always the capacitor. I recommend everyone keep at least one of these on hand so you don't have to pay ridiculous amount of money to have an AC guy come out! I'm usually up and running within 10 minutes and I don't have to wait days for someone to show up. These capacitors work well, just as good as OEM.

Have a Spare Run Capacitor
In 20 years, had 3 AC run capacitors go bad - all on a holiday - never again - bought this run capacitor to have as a spare and now that I have one I will probably never have to use it -- damned if you do damned if don't...LOL

The product does work
The product was good, but the capacitor I was testing was bad. The new dual run HVAC cap. tested out perfect. The HERM and Fan were both within tolerance. Please remove previous post which rate this product at 1. A rating of 4 is correct - the instruction could be improved
