The theif captured in my video has a great taste for quality. This purchase is a replacement for the exact model. I've owned this tool for several years and as a woodworker hobbyist, it's worked hard and often. This tool has turned a much hated job into an enjoyable task. The only complaint is the dust collection bag on its own could use some improvement. If used with a vacuum or dust collection system, I could see the value. Runs pretty smooth and quite for an electric sander and cuts your valuable time sanding way down.

This DEWALT random orbit sander has been a great addition to my tool collection. Despite its compact size, it works wonders. I used it to remove overspray on my basement stairs, and it handled the job smoothly and efficiently with excellent control. The variable speed is a big plus, allowing you to adjust based on the task, and the sander feels solid and well balanced in hand. One important warning: the dust travels farther than you expect, especially in small or enclosed spaces. Be sure to close doors and cover nearby furniture before you start—I learned that the hard way. Overall, this is a reliable, powerful sander that delivers professional results. Very nice and easy to use love the variable great product. Would have like if the carrier bag was included like in the photo but am still very satisfied and would recommend this product.

It would seem that it sand much faster than the sander it replaced. It vibrates a lot less. And is as noisy as heck. The dust collector works very well so I did not have gobs of dust covering everything. The box it came in looked suspicious. It looked like someone tried to retape the box and did a rather sloppy job. But on the inside nothing looked amiss.

I've used a few different orbital sanders over the years, and this DEWALT is easily one of the best in its price range. The variable speed is a huge plus, plus it makes it easy to dial things in depending on whether I’m sanding soft pine or harder woods like oak or walnut. It’s got a good weight to it, but not so much that it wears out your arm. It glides smoothly across the surface without leaving swirl marks, and the vibration is minimal, which is something I really appreciate after long sanding sessions. Dust collection isn’t perfect, but it does a decent job if you hook it up to a vacuum. I ended up using a universal adapter to fit my dust extractor and it’s been solid. For woodworking projects, furniture refinishing, or general cleanup sanding, this sander just works. Feels solid in the hand, doesn’t bog down under pressure, and hasn’t let me down once.

Wonderful sander. Keeps just to a minimum, and does a great job sanding. A guide would be nice to line up paper to holes on the pad. But I can build one easy enough. The pads I got stick Great and havent moved around on me or came off. Nice and strong motor for the long sanding projects and it stays cool in the hands too
