Works well in a meat curing environment.

I was initially reluctant when I saw on Amazon " A high return item". However it was very easy to pair with my phone, and the company is a reliable one and had good thermostats which survived the heat in my vinyl shed in Georgia.However three points I would like to mention:1-The app graphics are of dull colors and they can improve it's visibility and features.2-The sensor wire is about six feet, but if you want to put it at a remote area in your crawl space, and have access to the monitor by the crawl space door, this could not be attained. This could also be a problem for other settings. There are no extension wires to fit this device.3- accuracy may be questionable, as I get different readings compared to my " Streamlab" water valve device, and my Alorair dehumidifier. I am satisfied if there is a 5 RH difference of range between the three device. It is only a crawl space. There is a caliber feature I haven't tried.Overall great product

I have been using the original version of this controller for about 3 years, and it was great. My only complaint was that programming it was kind of a ball ache. It was a lot of button pushing and trying to remember what the two -letter or digit abbreviation meant, hoping you set it right, and trying not to get too impatient and going past the option you wanted and having to scroll back through everything again to get where you wanted to. Of course, once you got the settings where you need them, it was awesome and handled the humidifier for my walk-in cigar humidor very well.This new model is just as capable, plus it adds all of the convenience of wifi connectivity which does two things for you. First, it makes programming it and adjusting the settings so much easier. You just download the app, connect it, and go. It lets you see all of the settings at once, directly edit whatever you want, save and go. It also means you can monitor the humidity and see the history of the readings from anywhere. In addition to the original unit, I used to also use a Govee humidity and temperature unit so I could remotely monitor my humidor. With this, it at least handles monitoring humidity, so the Govee isn't as necessary as it was.I'm sure there are plenty of other uses for this thing, but for managing humidity for a walk-in or even a larger cabinet humidor, it works wonders.

This unit is fine for uses where you don't need super fine control of the humidity. I have the sense that it's not consistent. I have several very steady and accurate humidity gauges that always read at constant differences apart from each other. One is dead on whenever I calibrate it with a salt test. This unit varies from it over time by as much as two or three percent in either direction, and the deviation is not consistent, so calibrating it doesn't help much. Still, this control is pretty amazing for the price and the Wi-Fi feature is really nice to have.

Using it to control a box fan in a crawl space. There are several very good youtube clips out there going through the (NECESSARY!) calibration procedure. Once done, connected to my wifi without issues. After running it for over a year, and checking the calibration again, it was still spot on!Sure beats crawling around turning fans on and off.

It's a really good controller... When it works. It have 1 HUGE FLAW and it's that once the probe is damaged, it doesn't work anymore and the only way to repair it it's to buy a new probe and do some things with cable, peel it and make connections and whatnot. Why they don't just make it so you can connect a new probe to the main body? Like just plug and play? I don't know... I just had to buy a new controller and went with the ITC 608T for humidity readings so in the future if the probe is damaged, I can just buy a new one and plug it and that's it. Yes, I had to sacrifice the wifi readings and records but is better than having to buy a whole new $59.99 controller every time the probe is damaged...

Worked for 2months then Wi-Fi quit working then a day later the unit would never power on again. Waiting for a replacement. Inkbird is sending a replacement. My other 3 Inkbird controllers work perfectly. Maybe this one was a dud. Either way they got right on it and are sending a new one.

This controller is completely Plug and Play comes with a dual relay output that supports both your humidifier and dehumidifier equipment. On your display screen you will have a display that shows your humidity value and the measured value at the same time on this model like the non-wifi model you're also able to calibrate. It also comes with a control delay protection a high low humidity alarm and a probe fault alarm. The humidity measurement range is from 10% to 99% RH, the display accuracy is from 0.1%RH. The controller unit comes with a two-year warranty and the probe comes with a one-year warranty. This is a must have unit for anyone that is involved in making charcuterie inkbird stands behind their equipment and it's very reliable I highly recommend this controller compared to other Wi-Fi humidity controllers the price of the IHC 200 is much lower if you don't own one I suggest you do
