Sure Petcare SureFeed Stainless Steel Bowl

Our little menagerie consists of one dog and three cats, each with differing dietary needs, necessitating having their own feeder. These bowls are perfect replacements for the plastic ones that are supplied with the feeder. All our pets are on a wet-food diet and the rubber seals on the bowls work as intended to keep the food from drying out. Out of concern for the ease in which biofilms can develop and the difficulty removing its contamination that hides in the easily scratched plastic bowls, we purchased a set of these stainless steel bowls for each feeder. Biofilm is reported to not easily develop in/adhere to stainless steel and these bowls are easily scrubbed with antibacterial dish detergent and hot water after each feeding, which in our household happens to be three times each day. In addition, we enjoy the fact that these bowls are practically indestructible and with proper cleaning are very unlikely to harbor bacteria that is detrimental to the health of our pets.

Bought these since the plastic bowls caused cat to get feline acne, but after switching for a number of months the acne hasn't come back. Good quality with no issues, and they fit in perfectly. Be sure to only hand wash and thoroughly dry especially around gaskets, we have not had any issues.

Our cat needs a metal bowl to avoid chin acne and these are perfect. the bowl is easy to wash (only ones that go in the washer). It's a little frustrating how expensive they are though so we use the plastic bowls for our other cats, but of course that means hand-washing, so I'm thinking it might be something we save for in the future.

Works well, fit's well into our sureflap feeder. It's brushed and not shiny. It's stainless steel but seems like a lower quality, definitely not 18/10. I put them in the dishwasher and they come out clean. No rusting so far either, even when leaving it wet and after 4 weeks of use.

My female, senior cat is prone to get chin acne. After doing some research and a trip to the Vet, I've learned that plastic dishes can contribute highly to this condition. She'd develop an open lump and it was painful for her. I must say, ever since switching to the stainless steel dishes, she has been free of this condition! Knock on wood !!! My complaint is that I think these are overpriced and wish they had a divider in the center like the plastic ones do. Now I have extra plastic dishes for my other cat, which also has the Surefeed system, which I very highly recommend!

if i had a choice to buy these types of bowls from some other maker, i would!! they cost $30 for 2 yet you receive scuffed up stainless steel bowls that look used all over (except rubber seal) when they are not used bowls. first set i bought from their website, i thought it was just a fluke and overlooked the wear & tear look but, i ordered another set here this week and sure enough these arrive looking the same as well but, a little worse!! And whatever glue/adhesive they use to put rubber seal around bowl top gets all over side of bowl under it and apparently stains the steel before they wipe it off for you can see it but, you cannot wash it off, its permanent on bowl.. Also i do not know what the dull film layer is on the inside of bowl but, i don’t like it. says stainless steel bowls but, doesn’t say the stainless steel inside bowls is dulled out/sprayed with something??. whatever it is, it scratches just by you gently mixing wet food in bowl so now my first set looks like we have had them for years when its only been like 3 wks.. Anyhow other than manufacturer not seeming to care about the quality output of these bowls, i love these bowls for they are excellent to use in both feeder versions we have and are much better than plastic bowl version IMO, not that the plastic ones don’t do a good job too, just these stainless steel ones keep the food colder/fresher to me. when i take these bowls out in morning (about 10hrs later), they still feel cold and whatever food did not get eating overnight still looks juicy & fresh looking. for that i love these bowls but, i wish they didn’t have that dull film layer in bowls..

These fit the feeder perfectly, and they are good quality.

Glad to have a stainless steel choice in bowls. We avoid plastic bowls and plates for cats in order to prevent feline acne.

Good but should have been included with the SureFeed machine from the start. Would have wished that at least one of the stainless steel bowls had two compartments.

Finalmente ho trovato quelli in acciaio , gli originali in plastica hanno un odore molto fastidioso , che non si riduce nel tempo , il mio gatto ha apprezzato molto !

He comprado más precisamente porque tras medio año usando tanto estos de acero como los de plástico de manera alternativa, me quedo totalmente con estos. Así puedo poner lavavajillas y tener siempre preparados los boles puesto que los cambio dos veces al día, ya que tengo que darles comida en salsa a mis dos gatos 2 veces al día por recomendación de su veterinaria para que estén bien hidratados. El acero no brilla lo que ayuda a que no les haga reflejos a los gatos (cosa que me he encontrado con otros boles de acero). Los meto en el lavavajillas constantemente y sin ningún problema, secan bien y la goma está como el primer día (es silicona, por lo que aguanta altas temperaturas). Lo bueno de la silicona es que sella perfectamente el plato, sin ella el sellado no se hace y al entrar aire se seca la comida (si usas húmeda como yo se nota rápido la diferencia con los trocitos que a veces tiran fuera del plato y se quedan bajo la tapa). Lo malo es el precio, pero voy a ir comprando en el futuro más de estos para tener una vajilla completa lol

These should come with the surfed set. Some cats react to plastic and get acne. These helped.

8 maanden geleden deze schalen gekocht voor onze ShureFeed microchip voorautomaten. De bakken zelf zijn goed, makkelijk schoon te houden. De rubberen rand laat echter al snel los. Na een paar maanden begon het al en inmiddels ligt bijna de hele rand eraf. Erg jammer!
