Top quality, beautiful, easy to clean -- an everyday homerun
Just a fantastic product. Easy to clean, worst case with a long hot soapy soak and some barkeepers friend you have it back in shape with relatively little effort. Roasts a mean chicken. If you want to do two birds at once, get the larger model or a second one of these. If I did two birds in this they would fit but not have any real space between them. One medium roast beef you can do. Think one large chicken and you have the idea. Below will fit around 3-4 cubed potatoes let's say. If you want more roast veg beneath, again size up. That said, the larger pan in my fairly standard sized oven scrapes against the sides a bit, I have to jam it in. This model no. I think for everyday cooking for 1-3 adults or 2 adults 2 children this works well. 5 people and up I would go with the larger model.

It really fits!!
I needed to retire my mother's 84 year old turkey pot this year. It made me sad to do so but it was time. I did a lot of research and comparisons and after many sleepless nights finally decided on this one. The only problem was, would it really fit a 20 pound turkey? Well let me just say it not only fit but I'm sure a 21 pound bird would fit nicely as well! Not only did the turkey fit but when it was time and I took it out, it had baked so well that the turkey was very tender, moist and flavorful! The quality of this pot is outstanding, with very secure handles and a nice thick base and well arched lid. There's a rack as well which is very sturdy and hefted our large bird with no problem. The pan is machine washable but I easily cleaned it by hand as there was no room for it in the dishwasher. I did however wash the rack in the machine and it came out like new! I am very happy with this pan and can't wait to make other tasty dishes with it. If you are looking for a good quality pan, this is it! I believe this was money well spent and I am looking forward to many, many holiday birds baked in this beautiful, easy to clean pan.

Excellent roaster
This is an excellent roasting pan. Worked very well for our turkey, cleaned up easily, and still likes shiny and new. It has a thick steel construction, so the heat seems to be even. Also very sturdy for lifting a heavy turkey out of the oven without working it will bend or warp. Having the doomed lid gives you extra room, too. Very happy with it.

Great roaster. No downside to disk bottom.
This works great as a roasting pan. I will say that it was overpriced at original list. But I don't see any downside to just having a clad bottom, instead of having the sides clad. The reason for the clad sides, as in a saucepan, is to have more even heat up the sides of the pan. That's it. It shouldn't be a status or marketing thing. To me, a roasting pan is just used for roasting and making pan sauces, and you don't have liquids up the sides of the pan for that process. You don't really need it for braising, either. Having the extra weight in the sides would just make the pan heavier, and even slow down the time it takes the interior to get up to temperature a bit. What is great about this is that it's covered. Most high end roasting pans don't have lids, which in my view is just silly. You end up making little aluminum foil lids for them, for part of some roasts, just because the really expensive pan didn't come with one. This also lets you braise, which is really handy, and which you can't do in an open roasting pan. One downside is that the little flat rack is a little awkward for some things. But that's a design trade off for having a lid that works, the sides not being any higher than they already are, and a size to easily fit in all ovens. So my alternative to this, and second best suggestion would be graniteware, at about 1/10th the cost. Enameled steel roasts great, you just have to be very careful making pan sauces without burning, or transfer to another pan to thicken, and they're slightly harder to clean.

Excellent Quality and has a stainless steel lid .
Can't wait to use it. It was just what I was looking for to cook a roast or turkey. I wanted a real great stainless steel roaster with a lid, since I do not cover with foil. The bottom of pan is heavy clad steel that is flat to make a gravy on top of stove in the roaster pan.

Has it all
Love this grand roaster. It has a lid and great wire rack. Many roasters do not have a lid. It fits nicely into my oven and is not too heavy but very sturdy. I like the thick tri ply bottom for collecting drippings without burning.

Perfect Roaster
The finest cookware I’ve ever used and this roaster is perfect. It will work stovetop on my induction stove to braise a roast, deglaze, then roast low. I love it.

Fabulous roaster pan
Get rid of that aluminum and go back to stainless. I have always loved stainless and fell for the marketing of non-stick cookware. Well, no more. I see professional kitchens using stainless and I know the value of cooking correctlu on stainless. So out with the aluminum and in with stainless. All-clad is a well-known and respected brand so the quality is spot on here. This is a really nice size roaster, well fitting lid and rack, and heavy duty. A very good buy.

I feel very sad that I bought it
It is not high quality, its price is only high, I have not used it yet, but after washing it I did not like its shape due to the accumulation of stains on it I do not know the reason I think the quality of the product has a factor in that
