Waterdrop RF15 Water Filter Replacement for Waterdrop 15UA/15UB/15UC

I’ve been using the Waterdrop RF15 filter and unfortunately my experience hasn’t matched the advertised lifespan. This filter is marketed to last up to 2 years or around 16,000–19,000 gallons depending on the model, but mine needed replacement after only about 10 months of normal household use. What’s especially disappointing is that I have the same under-sink filtration systems on other sinks in my home, all using comparable municipal water sources, and those filters consistently last over two years without any noticeable drop in flow or water quality. That makes this early failure stand out even more. Installation and water taste were both fine initially, and the filter performed well at first. However, the lifespan fell far short of expectations, especially given the manufacturer’s claims. It’s worth noting that actual filter life can vary based on water quality, but in my case the conditions are very similar across multiple systems, so this seems more like a product inconsistency than a water issue. I purchased this item as a replacement for one I had bought over a year ago, which worked well and lasted for more than a year. Unfortunately, the new replacement lost pressure after only three days. I contacted customer service, and Becky quickly arranged a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement developed the same pressure issue after about a week. I reached out to Becky again, and she continued working with me to find a solution. This time, she sent a complete package that included both the filter and the 15UA head. That resolved the pressure issue, and the system has been working properly ever since. Although I had issues with the first two filters, I was very impressed with the customer service. Becky was responsive, helpful, and continued working on the problem until it was actually resolved rather than simply stopping after the first replacement. Great customer service and excellent follow-through.

The water that comes out of my tap from the city tested, awful prior to installation. It had been about six months and I decided to go ahead and change out the filter with the replacement. It functions really well I can actually use ice cubes made in my refrigerator and I can stop buying bottled water, which was the original goal.

I have purchased 2 of these over the years, and they work great. I replace this 2 year filter about every 15-18 months. I put this in between my water line to my refrigerator and use it instead of those tiny filters they have inside the refrigerators.. I purchased a blank from the manufacturer to put in place of the filter and then have this waterdrop in between my water line and the refrigerator water line... this works greatl, lasts longer and is cost effective...

I ordered this whole system last year and it states it’s a 2 year filter. The filter didn’t make it to one year. It clogged up and obstructed water flow. I ordered a new filter(replacement) installed it July 2026. We will see how long this filter lasts. The installation of the system was easy. It does what it says it does and the water tastes great. Other than the filter not lasting 2 years as stated. It’s a good system.

Have been using this filter for years and has always reliably kept my water filtered and tasting great. I had one issue where the water pressure was slow even with a replacement filter but the waterdrop support team had it solved within days. Kimberly from waterdrop support helped ship out a replacement part that got the water running fast again!

The customer service is amazing and they stick to warranty. One of the filter I bought died in 7months. They replaced it with a new one after providing the evidence.

I love my Waterdrop filter, and that a filter last approximately 1 year. Switching to a new filter is pretty simple. And of course, I love knowing my faucet water is filtered for drinking, cooking, etc.

I have been using Waterdrop filters for several years. The system was incredibly easy to install under my sink and I now have worry free access to filtered drinking water. Recently however, I started having issues where the water would suddenly stop flowing. I contacted Waterdrop support and Owen responded promptly to help me troubleshoot the issue. Eventually, it was determined that the filter was at fault well before its intended lifespan. A couple days later Owen sent me a replacement filter and the issue was fully resolved. Waterdrop makes good products but what really makes them great is the level of support they provide when unepxected issues occur. I am looking forward to continuing to be a Waterdrop customer.
