Peeetes coffee is my favorite brand of coffee! This did not disappoint at all. It was fresh, and tasted just as it should've. Will definitely order more soon! You can alter the strength easily by using more or less to how you like coffee to taste as well as how strong you want it to be.

When I could no longer find Peet’s Alma De La Tierra, I decided to try this blend instead. While it isn’t quite as exceptional as my previous favorite, it is still a very good dark roast. Peet’s continues to deliver a smooth, flavorful cup of coffee with a rich, bold profile that holds up well, I enjoy it black. It has a consistent roast quality and a satisfying depth that makes it an easy everyday coffee. Overall, it’s definitely still worth the price and a solid choice for anyone who enjoys a dependable dark roast, even if it doesn’t fully replace a longtime favorite.

Great coffee, good roasting date when it arrived

This is my husbands favorite coffee. He was introduced to it a couple of years ago by a friend. It is the coffee allowed in our home.

I’ve been drinking this roast for years, and while I’ll occasionally try something different, I always come back to this specific blend. I like a coffee that has depth to it, and this one has that dark, bold flavor I enjoy without losing its smoothness. Even the smell as it’s brewing is comforting and familiar at this point. I don’t really drink coffee in the morning just for the caffeine. It’s a ritual I’ve had for so many years that I genuinely look forward to it when I wake up. Some mornings, knowing I have a good cup waiting for me is honestly enough to make getting out of bed a little easier. I make my coffee as a pour-over, which has become part of the ritual itself. I put the grounds in my dripper, add a little hot water first to let them bloom, and then slowly pour the rest of the water over them in a steady circular motion. The key for me is not to pour too quickly. I like giving the water time to move through the grounds rather than rushing it. That seems to bring out the dark, rich flavor while keeping the cup smooth. I’ve tried plenty of other coffees over the years, but I always like having this one around. There’s something reassuring about knowing exactly what that first cup is going to taste and smell like.
