Maxx Action Wild West Outlaw Play Set - Cap Blaster Set - Ages 5+

This was the perfect gift for my 7 year old cowboy wannabe. He loves that it came with two holsters and boomsticks and a big cowboy belt buckle. They can be used with or without caps, which are sold separately. The belt doesn't feel very high quality and I'm questioning how long it will last, but for the price, it's to be expected.

Good little cap guns, it's nice that they come with two, and the holsters. A little smaller for my larger hands, but they are essentially a kid's toy, so that is understandable. Material seems OK, they are heavily plastic. I haven't been able to try them with the actual caps yet, because I still need to grab those. But the double action seems to work well, and they open and close easily. I like the break open design. The only issue I have is that one of them does snag occasionally on the trigger pull and breaks open without actioning it to do so. But it's a minor inconvenience. Overall, I'm still happy with these.

Review from 11-year old: So honestly, this is really fun. I never bought any Caps for it, but I still think this is fun. But this does have some problems. My first issue is that they are kind of low quality. Second problem is that they are a little less realistic than in the photos, so if you are and adult and you want realism, don't buy these. Last problem is that they are a little small. I'm 11 and they are slightly too small for my hands. Overall I love these and I've played the heck out of them, so quality, NO, fun, YES.

So, I got my hands on the Maxx Action Wild West Outlaw Play Set, and let me tell you, my dreams of becoming a cowboy have never been closer to reality. This 5-piece set includes two cap blasters, two holsters, and a custom belt—basically everything you need to start your own Wild West adventure. The cap blasters? Oh, they're a hoot. They make realistic popping sounds that will have you feeling like you're in a high-stakes shootout... or at least a very loud neighborhood. Just remember, the ring caps are sold separately, so don't forget to grab those unless you want to be the silent outlaw. The adjustable belt is a nice touch, though I had to poke extra holes to make it fit. Apparently, my waistline is more "sheriff" than "outlaw." But hey, fashion is all about customization, right? The quality? Well, let's just say it's more "toy store chic" than "authentic frontier gear." But for the price, it's a steal. Plus, it gives you the perfect excuse to wear a cowboy hat around the house. Final Thoughts: If you're looking to relive the glory days of the Wild West without leaving your living room, this play set is your ticket. Just be prepared for your kids to start calling you "Sheriff" and demanding you enforce the bedtime curfew. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – For turning me into the cowboy I was always meant to be.

It’s a cute gun but the trigger is hard to pull for young kids. My grandson is 4 and couldn’t pull the trigger on his own, which was really frustrating for him. It’s also all plastic and not metal.

Grandson loved this toy

Grandson wanted realistic cowboy out fit for Halloween. These worked great.

Lasted about 6 months before breaking. Lots of fun and entertainment. Super cheap but my 4 year old didn’t care
