Spiritual Reiki: Channel Your Intuitive Abilities for Energy Healing

I'm so excited for this book! I even received books today from His Holiness The Dalai Lama and Dr. Judith Orloff, but I'm most excited for this one, I seem to heal other's in some way without any real reiki involved, I'm so stoked this book has self healing techniques in it, when you start out on a journey of Enlightenment, you don't realize that you are absorbing the strong emotions and energies of other's, life is way too short, I've learned to heal myself 1st because if anyone thinks they are highly empathic you must learn to clear other's energies from you over time constantly negative people will drain you and will force you to have nothing to do with them, I've also learned not everyone can be healed, and that's the saddest thing when an empath truly accepts that

I really like this book, she discusses a lot of important information that I haven't seen covered in my regular reiki class materials. For instance, she talks about how we can expect to see our spiritual/intuitive gifts heightened and maybe even new ones developed through practising reiki/getting attuned. She even talked about seeing other energy forms for the first time and the importance of being prepared for this possibility so that we don't panic. Good to know these things ahead of time. I had a friend who used to talk to me about seeing extra-dimensional beings, etc. etc. but this is the first time I've seen it mentioned in reiki materials! I received an advance copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I recommend the book.

I absolutely loved this book. If you're just starting out in the Reiki world, you NEED this book. It's the perfect guide for those who are still learning about Reiki. It covers how important it is for one to actually be attuned first before doing Reiki, how your psychic abilities will grow along with Reiki, you heal a part of yourself the more Reiki you do for others, different hand techniques for self healing Reiki and Reiki for others. It's all great information to have on hand. Highly recommend getting this.

I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to say that I found this book in the beginning of my spiritual journey. I love that this author talks about the spiritual side of reiki and what to expect... most books I’ve come across don’t seem to really mention it. It’s a wild rollercoaster ride that I’ve been dealing with spiritually and I’m glad I have this book as a reference so I don’t deem myself insane lol.

The book is good explaining Reiki. But like they say in the book. A book will not teach you Reiki. Plot twist: You need a Reiki Master to teach you. Good info to read up on before your search.

Great reference for spiritual healing. My Reiki 1 course did not offer the tips from this book. In fact, this book contradicts some of the advice from the class. I am too new to Reiki to have an opinion on the contradictions; and I also feel one should follow their heart and intuition for what feels right to them. I use this book almost daily.

This is very helpful especially for beginners.
