life saving ( to a point )
this is a very small size cuff and for those with a small arm like my grandma it makes all the difference grandma lost a lot of muscle in her final years with her arm getting very thin and her regular size cuff started giving wrong readings causing her to take medications for high blood pressure she didn't even have ... her nurse then suggested buying a child size cuff and i bought this one when we replaced the cuff with this smaller cuff it fixed the error in measurements and she was able to ditch the blood pressure meds more importantly we were able to find the real cause of her having episodes where she would feel extremely badly - during those episodes her blood pressure previously appeared to spike to 200 and we would focus entirely on getting it back down - with the new cuff it was clear her blood pressure still spiked, but not enough to explain how she felt - and we found the real issue was low oxygen due to poor lung function. once we put her on oxygen these episodes she has been battling for a while disappeared completely. without this cuff we never would have figured out what the real problem was. grandma still died at 98 but it was clearly due to her age at that point. this cuff probably extended grandma's life by about half a year and saved her a lot of unnecessary suffering in the process as well. to summarize - make sure you're using the correct size cuff for the patient. one size does NOT fit all.

Great for skinny arms
The cuff that came with my home BP monitor was way too big, so I bought this one at the recommendation of my cardiologist. It seems to work well and fits my arm much better than the standard sized one. Although my arm is almost to the max measurement on this cuff... it would be nice if there was an in-between size. My upper arm is approx 8.5".

Too small for me
The standard size cuff has a lot of overlap on my arm, making it cumbersome to use. This one was too small to be useable. Something slightly larger would be ideal. I can't find one .

Works well
Seller (Honest Medical) shipped so quickly, arrived fast. Well packaged, brand new Omron cuff. Sometimes the cuff that comes with your Omron unit is just too loose for taking the BP of someone with a smaller arm- a teen or an adult. This cuff is definitely scaled down in dimensions. If you are used to having a lot of "spare cuff" to pull through...that won't be the case with this smaller cuff. No "tail" so to speak, when using this on a thinner adult arm (Perhaps on a small child there would be). Some might feel there should be a cuff offering of Small, Med or Large. The average cuff that many units come with lately is larger than years ago. This Small cuff will look very small on an average *length* arm, but it is the width AROUND the upper arm- where you attach it, that is really what determines your need for a smaller cuff (the arm above the elbow... at the bicep is where to measure). But this smaller cuff still plugs in easily, and if needed you can remove to use the larger cuff your unit originally came with, for an adult with larger arm. Just be sure to verify what unit you have now (the model number) to be sure it is compatible with this smaller cuff's input plug. The Omron website itself offers info on such things, if you are in doubt.

A small cuff for Omron BP742N 5 Series
This is a SMALL cuff for the Omron BP742N 5 Series blood pressure monitor. It is a perfect fit for my wife, who is 5 feet tall and weighs 98 pounds. If you are a small person, you know how hard it is to find a small cuff for these fully automatic blood pressure monitors. Without exception, they come with cuffs which fit an average or larger sized American adult โ including all the cuffs which allegedly "adjust to fit most." There is no cuff which adjusts to fit most. When you buy a Omron BP742N 5 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Cuff that fits Standard and Large Arms , you get a cuff which fits an average or larger sized American adult. If you are a man under 5'6" or a woman under 5'2" and you are not a body builder, you probably need Omron's CD-C59 Small D-Ring Cuff. Thanks to Omron for making one and keeping it in production for this popular and inexpensive blood pressure monitor.

Came used
Works well and the smaller size seems more accurate for my tiny mom. However, the box arrived opened, damaged and by the condition of packaging, did not seem new at all. Iโll be returning this.

Teeny-Tiny Blood Pressure Cuff - For Children Only
I bought this cuff hoping it would fit the arm of a small adult (9 inch arm circumference). It did not. It is definitely a child-sized cuff. It would BARELY make the 9 inches around that it is claiming to cover, rendering it useless as a 9 inch cuff once the air pressure is applied. It is too bad that there is not a cuff in between this size and the one that came with the original Omron Blood Pressure unit. If I had known it was THIS small, I would not have bought it. I do not have any small children at home and when I did, they were not in need of blood pressure monitoring.

perfect for my small arms
Took my Omron machine, along with this cuff, to my doctor to test accuracy and it was spot on. All machines seem to come with a standard 9-11 inch cuff. Well, my arm only measures 7" and I get a more accurate reading with an appropriately sized cuff. The cuffs simply plug into the machine, so it's quick and easy for my husband and I to switch cuffs as needed.
