Organic chemistry class? This is what you're looking for.
I was allowed to use an organic modeling kit for exams and finals in my organic chemistry class; these were perfect for tests and homework in every way. I bought these after having extreme frustration with the school store's kit, and found this kit to be intuitive, accurate, and easy to use. There are enough pieces to cover most basic organic molecules, to the point where it can be a struggle to close the box all the way (that's a good thing if you're going into medical; you need all the carbons you can get). I strongly recommend this to anyone who needs a molecular modeling kit.
