Works well at replacing batteries. Pays for itself in short time for high battery consuming items. I have used 6 of these in lighted decorative items and it is an easy transformation to keep lights and devices on. No more constant battery changes and lights going dark. These are rated at 4.5 volts to replace 3 batteries. I tried a regular USB cord but 5-6 volts is too much for some LED drivers. This solves the problem. These are good in seasonal items as it works just a battery replacement and can used on multiple items>

We used this for a museum Christmas display of trains. Most of the trains were O gauge and one of the sets used a remote control. We had a timer set up to run the trains when visitors walked in. Unfortunately the remote had to be on the entire time for that particular train even when it wasn’t running. Lots of wasted batteries. This device lets us run the engine practically indefinitely. Since it uses dummy batteries and is plugged in to a regular outlet it solved our problem of replacing batteries all the time. These are simple to use and the cord is long enough to reach the outlet we needed. Will definitely buy more of these as we expand the train layout.

The product arrived ahead of schedule. It is well made. The chord for the powered battery is wafer thin and will allow the battery door to close with no problem. You do need to be careful when handling the powered battery so as not to put too much stress on the power chord for the powered battery. There is a 9-volt ac ripple (measured with a Digital voltmeter) on the power supply that did not affect the electronics in my Halloween decoration. I measured several other power supplies, and they all had an ac ripple. My decoration depleted 3 batteries in 5 days on the 6 hour internal timer. This product works great and will save me 15 AAA batteries. I have already purchased a 3 double AAA battery and a 3 Tripple AA battery units

I've been using these units for several years now and literally have no complaints. I've purchased more than ten of both AA and AAA battery varieties...and all but one worked perfectly (one didn't work on arrival due to a bent/broken cord, but they were helpful in replacing it). They're extremely simple to use, they're made very well overall, and they provide even, adequate power. I've successfully used these with a multitude of different device types, all with varying battery compartment configurations. With that said, I've never encountered a device with with these didn't work as advertised. I just couldn't be happier. Buy with confidence!

Use this to power battery decoration lights (LEDs) so changing batteries no longer required. It powers two different LED lights and LED strings no problem.

I bought a string light set set for my patio. It takes 3 AAA. The "dummy" batteries were loose, meaning no electrical contact. To fix this, I carefully stretched the coil spring (that makes contact with the negative side of the battery) with my fingernail, being sure not to damage the battery module for the lights. This was just enough to barely snug-up the batteries and the device works fine. Overall, the picture makes the bulbs appear bigger. Just know, they are pretty small, maybe 1-inch. Also, they are not super bright, meaning they don't provide functional lighting, but more an aesthetic appeal. The price is good.

Love these for counter decor that I want to stay lit. Keeps from having to replace batteries all the time. Durable and easy to use. Great value.

I love these! I have the AAA and the AA ones. They are perfect for those Christmas neon signs or literally anything that has batteries that you get tired of dying. I was over spending so much money on batteries. I work in an office for 10+ hours and at Christmas I have some of those neon decor signs. These are perfect! Last all day without an inkling of depletion. Recommend fully.

This AAA battery replacement power supply works perfectly in my three, previously battery-operated, candles. The flat ribbon which is connected to one of the artificial batteries is thin enough that the lead for the enclosure on the battery compartment can be put back in place. Considering I like the candles on all the time this simple power supply has already paid for itself in the number of batteries I have saved. Note I have three candles all battery-operated which each take three batteries. So I bought three of these power supply units.

Ordered this for one of my Christmas houses that is only battery operated, by mistake I ordered AAA instead of AA. Contacted seller and they were quick to respond and said I could return. Decided to keep it as it works with another of my Christmas decorations. Wonderful product will save $$ in batteries. Interaction with seller was great.

My first and foremost concern is safety. This dummy battery is thoughtfully designed and safe. Even the ribbon design so that battery compartment can close and use AC power. I was hesitant to purchase but glad that I did and will purchase more for my other battery powered decor that I leave on/am sick of replacing batteries for.

I was changing batteries every three days, that’s now in the past. The doorbell chime kept sucking up batteries like cool-aid and I found it frustrating. I highly recommend this product it’s a must.
