Folds up easily, is huge when spread out on the sand and the pegs keep it well pinned down so even on a blustery Scarborough beach it stayed in place. At the end of the day, after my great-nephew had dug up sand everywhere, just picked it up and all the sand fell straight off so I could refold it and put it back in it's carry bag. So much better than putting a towel on the sand. Great value for money and I can see this being used loads next year for many more outings.

My main use was for the beach and this worked really well for that. The sand brushed off easily. It also comes in a bag with 4 plastic pegs to secure it.It’s not a comfy picnic blanket like you usually get so don’t be fooled into thinking it is but it acts well as a grass or sand covering.Due to the small size of it when folded I keep it in my picnic bag so it’s always available.It’s not so easy to fold it down afterwards but I’ve never failed to get it back in the bag. Bought it for the cornwall trip! Wanted something portable, compact and light! Comes with tiny pegs to hold which works well at the beach and its sufficient for a family of 3 to 4, easy to fold and store away.

Whilst this will be very serviceable on a beach or grassy picnic area, I'd hardly describe it as a "blanket!" It's way too thin for that description. That said it'll be great underneath a "proper" rug/blanket to stop any damp sand or grass from emanating through. It appears well made, great value and very portable....it's just not a blanket!!

I bought this picnic blanket as we are a family of 5 and needed something that we could all sit on, also I liked the idea of it being waterproof and something you could peg down. (No more having to place items on the corners to stop it blowing up). I have never used a picnic blanket so often, it's brilliant. We've only tried it on grass at the moment but it does the job. It folds up nice and compact also and has a hook to attach to your bag. Will be trying it on the sand when we next go to the beach.

Good design, lightweight and space-saving for travelling. Unfortunately when used on the beach, the mat gets sweaty and the sand sticks to the underside which is very difficult to remove. I also found it got quite hot under the Spanish sun. Very inconvenient, will only use this when in the park. I would not recommend it for the beach.

Honestly I bought it to use it only a couple of time but now EVERY time i go out I have it with me because I came handful so many time. It is extremely easy to unfold and pin to the ground and it’s equally easy to fold it and put it back (also the space it occupies in the bag is really limited). It is water resistant as advertised and super easy to clean. I now use it so often that a couple of friends of mine want to buy it as well.I used it for pic-nic on different ground:- lawn- sand- rocks- muddy/wet groundNever had one single problem, even when there was wind it was very easy to use as it can be pinned to the ground. I personally would recommend it.

This is a compact solution and glad I bought it.Easy to carry and clips on to bags so don’t know it’s there!It is splash proof - and definitely sand proof.Pegs are genius too 👍🏻Only annoying this is I’m quite short and struggled to fold this by myself, on a windy day too! Argh! But glad I purchased :)
