1157 Bay15D P21/5w LED Bulb, DC12V-24V 6W With Projector Super Bright 6000K, For Car Brake Lights, Parking Tail, Stop Light, Reverse Lights. (Pack Of 2)

Received these today. Fitted with mods. 1 Orange indicator bulbs did not fit, cause the pins should be off set 150 degrees, sanded the 1 pin off, squeezed the guide tabs in to secure the bulb. They are in nice & firm with silicon grease. These are very bright compared to the halogen. Only fitted these to the rear cause the CAMBUS does not like them, indicators flashing fast when only one side, slows when hazard is on, think I will get away with this, kept the old & spares in the back cubbyhole. 2 Fitted the reverse bulbs, Magic, very bright compared to the old incandescent bulbs. did not take pictures. 3 Cannot use the brake lights. The Zafira uses the same bulb for tail & brake, tail is dim, brake increases the brilliance, if you want to fit these you will have to do bench tests & do the maths for the load resistor, might just do this for fun. The Fog lights are dark red, so will have to get heat resistant colour to paint/spray/coat, should be a pen that that does this. I have made a word doc for my info, will try to copy it into here. CAR Driving lights: There are different types of bulbs. 1 Off set high & low. BAY15D, P21/5W. 2 Off set by angle, 180 degrees. BA15S, PW21W 3 Offset by angle, 150 degrees. BAU15S, PY21W. 4 Different colours, Red, Orange, Yellow & White or clear. Now for the fun part. Opel Zafira, same tail light has 3 different bulb types, now add different models with exact same tail light fitting, has different types of bulbs, just to make life fun, the LHAS bulb holder does not fit the RHS, on top of that there are different versions so the bulb holder does not always fit the old tail light assembly. NOTE Opel have CAMBUS, Ouch, so it detects the type of bulb, some LED’s will not work with the cambus. Also generic interior bulbs will blow the fuse cause they are not compatible. I have 4 different bulbs in the LHS assembly, same with the RHS assembly, BUT the RED bulb third from top is different between the RHS & LHS, so are the indicator bulbs. The RHAS assembly was replaced due to cracks & water leaks. My thoughts are they keep their sales up by making life difficult for us. Received 25 July 24, fitted with mods. Received these today. Hoping this helps Fitted the ballast resistors & indicators are working good. 10 Ohm 50W fitted with adhesive heat tape that works well. very happy cause people keep tail gating me when I indicate to turn, I do indicate well in advance. Used these bulbs as day time running lights/side lights for my car. A great replacement to halogens! Nice and bright as drl’s and they dim slightly when used as side lights. Clear white, looks loads smarter and defy improved the look of my car. No flickering, no interference or anything. Been in for a week so far and still work perfect

Fits my Citroen C4 VTI 2012 model. Lights are very bright and doesn't mess with any other electrical equipment in the car. ...2 days later on of the light went but is due to the connection not fitting securely enough - a little loose, so ultimately changed them for regular Osram lights until I find a better LED alternative. Returned.

Fitted these in my daughters Mini One Cabrio R52. Fitted end of April 21, so far they've had little use, but the work brilliantly. She's very please with the look and super brightness. Beware when fitting the side pins are not the same level so its easy to detach from the base as you try to twist it in place. Line up the pins correctly and its a doddle. As for longevity its to early to say. But very good value for money, especially if the do last. ENJOY

The stop bulb has great brightness, but is not recognised by CANBUS so still shows stop bulb error. If it needs a resistor, why can't it be integrated with bulb? The side light is far brighter than the other existing bulbs with which it has to compare. Can't use it.

Fits and work well on my motorbike rear light

When I first got this I thought great! It all worked, very bright, direct replacement. Job done. However after the first trip out the tail light circuit failed. I am Disappointed as leds are supposed to have a long life. Clearly in this instance the manufacturing process is incapable of delivering this quality, and rather than sort out the process, continue to despatch and ship. So my advice is do not buy.

Very bright very good quality delivered well within the time said I’ve now put them in the fog lights tiling side lights and indicators. I would highly recommend this seller absolutely top quality products as I use the vehicle on the motorway and I need as much bright illuminations possible from the rear of my vehicle, when working on casualty vehicles on the hard shoulder.

I installed these LEDs in the tail light of my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 800, and as you can see in the pictures, they are much brighter than the old halogen bulbs. I now feel much better about cars behind me being able to notice me. Installation was easy and they fit great. No issues with them so far.

Finally a well working LED P21 bulb to be used in a motorcycle tail light for increased visibility. It illuminates the licence plate really well plus a very bright brake light.
