Is 100% clear line of sight required? I need slow speeds 200ft away but have thin trees in the line of sight.

I too have large whispy pine trees directly in line of sight and mine works great all the time. I thought it might be a problem but it was not. My distance is 350 feet. My signal is very very strong.
