Choco Musk by Al-Rehab for Unisex - 0.2 oz Concentrated Perfume Oil Rollerball (Mini)

Edited to add: YAY, this doesn't give me contact dermatitis, and I've worn it at least a dozen times. I've rolled it on my wrists (a common area where I'll get a rash if something is particularly allergenic), up my forearms, my neck and behind my ears, and have remained rash free. Not to say that this is allergen-free, but I'm typically pretty sensitive to a lot of ingredients/fragrance components, and if this doesn't make me itch, it's probably not likely to make you itch either. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! ----------------------------------------------------- I was walking around work the other day and smelled something delicious in the air - it was like someone had just baked vanilla cupcakes and was piping the scent through the air vents. As it turns out, it was one of our patients who had walked through the hallway 10 minutes earlier, and I was amazed that I could still smell her perfume long after she had passed through. Thankfully, one of my colleagues asked her what her fragrance was, and to my absolute shock, it was this sub-$5 wonder in a bottle. I immediately (like, literally, within 3 minutes of finding out what it was) ordered this and it arrived yesterday. I put a small dab on my wrists and was immediately in vanilla heaven. Yes, it has chocolate in the name, and yes, there may be a small cocoa-buttery type of undertone, but make no mistake about it, this is a vanilla-forward scent. My husband, who has one of the worst senses of smell of anyone I've ever met, was immediately like, "Hey, it smells like funnel cake in here..." That's not an association I think I would necessarily have made, but I can see the comparison. To me, it's a bit like a freshly baked vanilla sugar cone from Salt & Straw (yes, that's crazy specific). It's very sweet and gourmand, so if that's not your vibe, this may not be the fragrance for you. Actually, I take that back because I'm really more of a fresh/fresh-floral kind of person and this scent still really scratches an itch for me. It lasts a shockingly long time and doesn't change much throughout the day, which I kind of appreciate because what you see (smell) is what you get. I was about to buy this in the spray as well, but have heard reports that the oil is much nicer smelling and lasts longer, so I'll stick with this for now. I also purchased Soft in the oil roll on without any knowledge of what the scent was supposed to be, and although it's nice, it's a very close dupe for Aquolina Pink Sugar, which can get a little cloying after a while, and always reminds me of an old coworker. I still have my original bottle of Pink Sugar from about 20 years ago, so for me, it's a pass. This scent, though - this lovely little, cheap-looking, non-descript-bottle-having scent - is an absolute steal. Praying it doesn't give me contact dermatitis because I can see myself wearing this one a lot.

this perfume smells amazing. i just ordered my second bottle of it- the small bottle lasts a while! it is the perfect size to keep in your purse when going out. you’ll smell like a baked good, but it’s not too overwhelming for a sweet scent. longevity isn’t amazing, but it’s a cheaper perfume, so i wasn’t expecting anything crazy in that sense. the only thing i sort of dislike is how long it takes to dry on my skin since it is an oil.

I love this! It has a soft lingering smell and is great for layering, and keeping in my purse to reapply and freshen up throughout the day. The price cannot be beat for the longevity and I personally love the scent. For me it first goes on heavier on the chocolate/cocoa note and then lingers as a lightly sweet “vanilla skin” musk scent. Love it and very versatile with layering, especially with fragrances on the gourmand side but can even be a nice sweet complement to a more spicy or woody fragrance. Highly recommend

This is by far the best vanilla, chocolatey gourmand perfume I have ever used! I have tried out so many different vanilla fragrances, many of them were very expensive. Nothing compares to this. It is absolutely worthy of the hype that people give it. Another thing to mention is it does actually last all day. Until you wash it off on the shower, it will stay on you. If you are looking for a ACTUAL true sweet, vanilla bakery scent this is the best of the best.

My TikTok made me buy it, and I regret nothing. I love scented things. I especially love scented things that actually last. When I saw people absolutely raving about this, I was on the fence. But at this price, combined with the reviews, I figured I didn’t have much to lose. Turns out, I didn’t lose at all. And neither will you. Yes, the bottle is tiny. You will look at it and briefly think, “I’ve been scammed.” You have not. That tiny bottle will last you forever, and here’s why. This stuff is concentrated. Like, very concentrated. If you use too much, you will smell like a bakery for the next twenty years, and not in a subtle way. Learn from my mistake. The trick is one small swipe. That’s it. I dab a little on my wrist pulse points, let it dry, and let body heat do the rest. It blooms slowly, smells incredible, and lasts for hours without being overpowering. That's all. It's really that easy. It is an oil, so let it dry before you touch anything, but it absorbs quickly and feels soft and light on the skin. No greasy mess. I pair this with Tahitian Vanilla body lotion, and the combination smells amazing. Warm, cozy, and noticeable without being obnoxious. It's sweet and light. I personally think it's more of a feminine scent, but it could be used for a man as well. It's a little sweeter than I have noticed most men wearing, so I don't necessarily think it's masculine. But that's a personal preference thing! I'm not gatekeeping for men or women! For the price, this is a steal. A tiny bottle of highly concentrated fragrance that lasts forever and actually performs? TikTok was right.

Doesn't smell like the one I bought a 2 years ago. I like a light smelling perfume and this smelled very chemically. Doesn't smell different than other regular perfumes. It didn't smell like a problem, just not what I liked about the perfume originally. </3 I will be returning the product as I have no intention of wearing a perfume that smells like stronger formula.

The chocolate in this leans more into quite sweet, vanilla-y chocolate icing territory than I expected. And oddly has a tiny bit of spiciness to it, which I actually like. The spicy notes in this scent are not cinnamon or nutmeg like one would maybe expect in a gourmand - but rather... paprika? IDK. The spiciness wears off in the first hour or two of wear though and lends to more of a musky vanilla base. This scent is quite strong for about the first 1-2 hrs of wear, but lasts easily 5-6 hours on my skin. The roller ball is a little stiff, even after several uses but it doesn't leak (a common problem I have with roller balls)! Overall, great product for the price I just don't know if I would re-purchase do to my personal scent preferences.

the oil arrived fast. i was surprised it wasn’t in a box, but it was “wrapped” around a piece of paper- it didn’t broke tho. the oil smells amazing, the sillage is not extreme (it’s more of an intimate kind of smell) but the longevity is amazing, especially if layered with a body cream first. to me it smells like rubbing your face in a warm cozy blanket that smells like chocolate and vanilla; i love it. i would definitely purchase it again.
