Exactly What I Needed for My Kids’ Night Rides
I bought this bike light set because I needed something for my two boys. My 14-year-old and my 4-year-old both like riding their bikes, and I wanted to make sure they could be seen clearly whenever they were outside in low-light conditions. I was honestly impressed by how bright the front light is. It does a really good job lighting up the area in front of the bike, but what I like even more is how noticeable the rear red light is from a distance. As a mom, knowing that other people can see my kids coming from behind gives me a lot more peace of mind. The installation was also much easier than I expected. There are no tools needed, and the lights were quick to attach and remove. That is especially convenient when I don't want the kids leaving the lights on their bikes when they are stored outside or when we're done riding. I also really like that the set includes the front light, rear light, and a bell. It feels like a complete little safety kit rather than having to buy several separate accessories. We've used them for regular neighborhood riding, and they have stayed securely in place. The lights are bright, easy to use, and rechargeable, which is much more convenient for us than constantly replacing batteries. For me, the biggest selling point isn't how fancy the lights look—it's simply being able to see my kids and knowing they are much more visible in the dark. If you're looking for a practical light set for everyday family bike rides, commuting, or neighborhood riding, this has been a very worthwhile purchase for us.

Awesome light and bell set!!
These are fantastic lights! I feel very safe riding late night/early mornings from work (2a-5a) timeframe. Under bridges and tunnels these lights illuminate very well and there’s multiple settings for different uses. The lights are super duper bright when fully charged but even when half charged they light really well! They also provide two charging cables to charge both lights simultaneously. I love the different settings. I ride on Philly streets and most people don’t like to share the road but I’ve noticed with the blinking taillights people drive wide around me. The bell is a great plus too and everything slips on and off with ease. Phenomenal deal for the entire set! I never leave without them.

Great Light For a New Rider
I’ve been using this bike light for a short time, but I’m already impressed with its performance. The battery life is excellent — it easily lasts through multiple rides without needing to recharge. That’s a big plus for me since I do longer evening rides and don’t want to worry about it dying halfway through. Installation was quick and effortless. I had it set up and ready to go in just a couple of minutes. I actually liked it so much that I ended up putting one on both of my bikes. The mounting system feels secure, and the light stays in place even when riding over uneven roads. I’ve already completed two night rides, and it’s holding up very well. The build quality seems strong and durable, not flimsy like some of the cheaper lights I’ve tried in the past. The beam provides clear visibility for about 8 to 10 feet ahead, which is perfect for most urban or neighborhood rides. Beyond that distance, the light naturally dims, but I still feel very visible to others on the road. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a solid, dependable light that gives me extra confidence when riding at night. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants something easy to install, long-lasting, and bright enough for everyday use.

Inexpensive, but taillight mount is difficult.
Lights : bright, easy to mount, simple controls. Bell : cheap and large. Expect the top dome to unscrew itself fairly quickly and/or the internal gearing to strip. Better upgrade: one of the spring-hammer types. Those are smaller with fewer pieces to fail. Mounting : Attaches easily to the bike; headlight is pretty simple to attach/remove, but the tab on the tail light is VERY hard to release - the catch-lock is VERY large, so it's hard to get it moved far enough to release/install the light. I appreciate that the tail light can mount vertical or horizontal and that there's some tilt adjustment to get the aim right.

Better than big box store lights at the same price
A year ago when I started working the afternoon shift at my current job, I was unsure as to when I would get the chance to get on the bike and put in some miles. The late wake up in the early afternoon meant little time before work to ride (and who really enjoys riding before work more than after?) so I took a look at some bargain bike lights available on the popular shopping website Amazon. Riding at night is a whole different animal and without a bright enough light, potholes in country lanes or even dark city streets can come up pretty quickly. Here is a look at the headlight I ended up purchasing, the Blitzu Gator 320. Previously I was running a cheap Walmart light, with a max brightness of around 60 lumens. This sort of light is enough to help you be seen by others whist riding along, but not nearly enough to light the way in front of you, especially down unlit paths. Brightness / Battery Life After doing a bit of research and comparison, I found a light of around 250-350 lumens should suffice to allow me to train on the roads I’m so familiar with in the Cumberland Valley. A bit of searching found me the Blitzu Gator 320, a USB rechargeable headlight capable of spitting out just over 300 lumens of light. The Gator 320 has a run time of just over 2 hours on it’s brightest setting (~320 lumens) and I’ve found up to a 3-3.5 hour run time on lower settings. It runs in 4 modes; high, medium and low as well as a one-second strobe that operates on the brightest setting. The low setting was still brighter than the previous cheap light I was using. I found myself on moonlit rides using the medium setting and the high setting on completely dark rides. Over the course of a longer ride if operating on the high or medium setting, as the battery gets low the light may start flickering which is an indication the battery is dying. At this point you can usually get another 30-60 minutes or so of use out of the light on the low setting which may help you from becoming completely stranded without any light. Admittedly, 320 lumens seems like a minimum for riding country or unfamiliar unlit roads at night time and actually enjoying it. With moonlight the ride can be quite pleasant but on a cloudy night miles from town, your vision range is only about 15-40 feet. A higher rated light might triple that range, which is why some folks suggest 400+ lumens if planning to log a lot of night miles. Being USB rechargeable, the Gator 320 is convenient. There is no more replacing batteries, simply plug it into a microUSB wall charger or computer port and it will reach full charge within about 2 hours which isn’t too bad among bike lights. Durability & Versatility The light is also quite durable and versatile. With an IPX5 water resistance rating, you will not have to worry about water getting into this light, even at 50 miles per hour. The headlight also sports a quick-release button on the side near the mount, so you can quickly slide it off and use it as a flashlight without taking the entire mount off. As well as being removable, the mount also allows the headlight to swivel 360 degrees, so you can quickly get a glimpse of that deer on the side of the road with just a push of the finger. Style / Appearance There probably won’t be any beauty contests won by this headlight, though in the dark it’s not as though that really matters. The Gator 320 features an interesting jagged looking front end, while the rest of the shell is pretty smooth with what seems like a slightly rubberized coating (the black of the headlight feels rubberized, the silver is hard plastic). A power button is on top, while a rubber cover protects the microUSB recharging port on the bottom. However this positioning for me is typically reversed when I mount the light on my own bike, with the power button hanging on the bottom. This keeps the light from wanting to roll over when encountering bumpy roads, though the mount is more than capable of holding the light in place in an upright position. The Blitzu Gator 320 is a great budget light for those who want to do some short nighttime training rides on familiar roads or those who need a bright commuting light for late night rides home. At around $20 USD it is affordable to most and is much brighter than those available at the same price in big box stores.

This is my Second Purchase (This is an Updated Model)
To start, I want to point out that I am a mountain biker and like to go on some fairly rough trails. I need durable lights that can take beatings and crashes without failing. This light takes a serious beating before it gives out. My first purchase was almost a year ago and it had taken more crashes than I can count. It only gave out just the other day when I went hurdling over my bars and the bike crashed handlebars first on a rock and a tree root. It just caught the light in the wrong spot and finally did it in. So I bought a new one because the light is bright as can be, the battery lasts upwards of 5 hours straight in the flashing mode before it goes into low power mode (which lasts about 1 hour before it’s useless). Everything is the same in this model except for the charged light indicator (and presumably the low power indicator) and the mounting mechanism. The new mount is very easy and shows they clearly learned from competitors that this hook and loop method is the best one out there for cheaper products. As long as it is tight, it won’t move on you (maybe unless it’s on the tapered section of your bars if you have one). The mount also can stay on the bike. The light slides off a set of guide rails very easily with a button and can double as a very handy flashlight. It’s more useful than you’d think to have a handy flashlight, and it makes charging a pinch. My big complaint with this model, though, is that they changed the rail mounting mechanism. It’s much more finicky than before. If it is not completely on, the latch won’t take and the light can slide off. Before, it would click into place, but now that click is gone so it can be hard to tell if it’s right or not. I am worried than some dirt could get in the rail and stop the light prematurely, preventing the latch from securing the light and making the process a bit of a pain. It’d also be nice if they made the tail light chargeable instead of battery powered, but it still lasts a while and is very bright for the size. It’s also easy enough to dismount and change the batteries out. They have instructions too, showing where the battery port is. Overall this product is amazing. My old light was covered in scratches from all the falls, dented, scraped, and dropped in mud several times over. And it was still waterproof at the end of the day. I can’t say much for the same of that tail light though. I lost that not too long after I bought it.

FOR NIGHT CYCLING N SAFETY ONE WILL SURELY LOVE IT
Myself and my friend wanted to go on night hill cycling n wanted to purchase two lights for the purpose. After going through Amazon site I selected BLITZU GATOR 320 and purchased two bike lights and both reached on Friday on September 30,2016. well before the time to go. ( Courtesy Amazon excellent service) We mounted these on our bicycles quickly which was so easy job n took less than two minutes to mount these. We did two days (Saturday n Sunday) cycling Including approximately FOUR hrs. night cycling and continually used these lights at night time. After the night use, these were looking as fresh as in the beginning. After testing these thoroughly, to my maximum extent, I'm writing this bias less review. The lights are super bright n very useful for night cycling as you can see the way clearly and also, others can see u easily in night. The lights have four function modes which are very much useful and has wonderful working as described by the manufacturer. The lights fits very well and are holding tight on almost every bike. These are USB chargeable and very easy to remove from holder for charging. No tension for changing new non chargeable battery for every go. Charge it fully and have four five rides tension free. So Great, Love it in reality. So for the Head Light is concerned, it surely deserves "FIVE STARS." NOW ABOUT TAIL LIGHT. I am very sorry to find that Tail Light isn't USB Chargeable as it should be. In beginning, thinking that it must be chargeable, tried to find charging port, but in vain, instead I found it is regular coins type battery operated (CR2032 or equivalent). For the benefit of Amazon customers, I want to tell the procedure of changing the Tail Light Battery which is very easy. (See Photos for detail.) Just remove the rubber holder of the light carefully by taking out from one end. You will see the tail light will come out so easily. Now you can see the silicon cover of the battery. Remove the silicon cover by unscrewing the screws holding it n you'll find battery there in. (To be more clear See Photos pasted by me Please) Replace the battery, place the silicon cover of light on it n tighten the screws. Put the battery in its cover again. Ur Job is over now. Mount it n go for ride again. So simple to replace. As Tail Light is not USB chargeable I would have liked to give IT "FOUR STAR", But, As it is included free with Head Light, (Say Courtesy Light) one can't down star Main Head Light. for the sake of Tail Light. So, As the Light is too bright n very very useful for safety n night cycling, easy to mount, USB CHARGING with Automatic, fully charged cut-off system, water resistant, 360 degrees swivel ability to rotate any direction you want, I honestly award FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS. "FOR NIGHT CYCLING N SAFETY ONE WILL SURELY LOVE IT"

Very good for the price, but can use a few improvements
It's a good light in terms of the light output, however the light only seems to last maybe an hour on the brightest setting (but granted it's really not necessary; even the lower is enough, and you can make it brighter if you want for something special). When charging, the light by power switch will be blinking, and then on steady to show ready. Also, I'm wondering why you're not supposed to use any other USB wire. Also, is that only for the one that connects to the light; what happens if I am using an extender (or hub) from the computer; is that OK? Also, the screw that clamps to the bike, the screw head comes out, so you can't press it in by hand; need a screwdriver. Would suggest it should be permanent in the screw/clamp part, and like that you can push it into the other side and screw with the clamp to thread it. I saw that the BLITZU Gator 390 has a "rubber band" which makes putting it on and taking it of much easier. That is cheaper; I wonder if there is a difference in teh quality of the light. Another points is, that to turn it off from bright, you need to press the power button four time, so that is not so convenient. There are some lights that you press and hold for a second, and it shuts off from any point. Another day, it was out in a rain (says water resistant). When I turned it on, there was very little battery-power left, so it shut off soon after. However, at some point, it turned on on its own. It seems it 'got back' some power after 'resting' (as camera batteries do too, sometimes), and so it turned on. However, this is not necessarily so good, as you may not want it to turn on, for example in a room where people are sleeping etc. I think the should make it, that once it turns off for power, the IC should keep it off even if power returns. Even when I plugged it in to charge, it took some time before I was able to shut it; it was only cycling through the various levels of brightness but couldn't be shut. I don't know if this has to do with how much it was charged, or if some water got in. in either case, it shouldn't be (or perhaps it's a malfunction with this light alone, and not indicative of all the others of this model). All-in-all it's fair value for the money; nice and bright etc. (not the brightest - but the brighter ones cost more money, and have a separate battery pack, which may not be USB rechargeable, so that's a consideration). This light gives you what you need for riding around at night. Also very lightweight; can use as regular flashlight.

Bright, Reliable and Excellent for Night Cycling
I’m really impressed with the BLITZU Gator 320 bike light set. It’s a fantastic upgrade for anyone who cycles in low light or at night and wants to feel safer and more visible on the road. The front light is impressively bright for its size, providing a clear, wide beam that makes it easy to see the road ahead. It’s more than powerful enough for urban cycling and unlit paths. The rear light is equally effective, with bright LEDs that make you highly visible to traffic from a good distance. Both lights offer multiple lighting modes, which is really useful depending on conditions — steady light for dark roads and flashing modes for daytime visibility. The controls are simple and easy to use, even with gloves on. Installation is quick and tool-free. The mounts attach securely to the bike and stay firmly in place, even on rougher surfaces. The lights themselves feel well-built and durable, not flimsy or cheap. Battery life is solid, and they’ve proven reliable over repeated use. They’re also compact and lightweight, so they don’t add unnecessary bulk to the bike. Overall, this is a great value bike light set that delivers strong performance, ease of use, and peace of mind when riding. Highly recommended for commuting, leisure rides, or anyone who cycles regularly in low-light conditions.
