I can't believe one review wrote the box should be in English, duh they are only made in Japan so why would box be in English? Seriously one of the dumbest reviews I have read. I originally found Silcots in Japan last January and bought a few boxes, they are a former COSME winner they are that good. If you want a thin pad that doesn't suck up and waste product then these are excellent. Asian Beauty uses a lot of toners and essences which are thin and you can tell these pads are perfect for that. For example I love Labo Labo's Super Keana lotion for pores on my nose, I cut one of the Silcot's in half, put a few drops of lotion and apply to my nose for a few minutes. If you want the fluffy, run of the mill cotton pad then please don't buy these, you don't know what you are buying and will be disappointed. Also, I think the price is super fair, remember I bought these in Tokyo originally, so when I say the price for 5 boxes coming from Japan is super reasonable I think I know what I am talking about. In fact I am going back to Tokyo this January and while I will be definitely binge buying some of my beloved AB products, I won't buy these pads because I can get them with a reasonable mark up here at Amazon. Thank you seller!!!! Please remember these boxes are coming from Japan so hopefully they aren't crushed, but a little smush here and there is worth it to me because of the excellent price.

Absolutely love these cotton pads. I like soaking them in toner and using them as toner pads.

This is a great product and it is definitely one of my favorite cottons I’ve used so far. If you never tried using spongey textured cotton, do give it a try. I have sensitive skin but because this holds so much moisture, it works great removing makeup and/or to use it as facial mask alternative with my favorite skincare line. I was bit worried about how the product would arrive looking at past reviews. My order arrived from CA to my house which is on east coast via USPS with product packaging fully intact. It was in a sturdy enough box which must have helped and it looked like it was handled gently. If you think about it, the seller can’t really do much about how USPS or other companies handle their shipments. So ultimately, it may become a game of luck. Which is unfortunate for sure, but again, not seller’s fault. This pack of 5 should last me about a year. I am grateful for the convenience this seller provided!

I love these for DIY sheet masking!! Must have as these are special type of cotton pads that are super absorbent and thin - any product you're applying will go to face. That's how it's marketed. These are one of a kind. Super raved about too in Japan. Great for cheek masking as well. Got a five pack for the stash.

No lint and thin. Absorbs a decent amount of product and stays strong. I have used these with toner as a mini mask and they work well. Mostly use with toner after face washing. Very happy with them.

I have been trying for years to find anything as good as these. I use them almost every day and was hoping to find something similar I could buy in bulk. I have had no luck and I just keep coming back. If you are a K Beauty lover, this is the gold standard for toner application. They are extremely absorbent and durable. You don’t get any lint leftover. The spongy texture is the perfect thickness. I have never uses them for makeup removal but I think they would work great for that too.

I normally do not write reviews, but I instantly fell in love with this product after first use. It has benefits as below: 1. Save probably 2/3 liquid rather than 1/2 as claimed on the packaging 2. Maybe due to #1, the cleansing effect is intensified. I use mild cleansing water to remove normal makeup but it does not work on eyeliner when combined with Muji cut cotton. With this, my eyeliner can be easily removed. 3. It is not 100% cotton but does not feel too rough on the face. I use Muji sensitive skin skin care sets and find this to be soft. Would definitely buy again!

Very thin cotton pad, you will not waste your toner. It works best if you use this product as toner mask. Highly recommend.

The product is very different from other cotton pad, in a good way. It is soft to the skin, yet doesn’t leave residues or lints even with strong press. This is Japan technology. Pack comes a bit damaged but still ok.
