How many mg's are each capsules? What are we buying here? With no info on Mfr's website, it looks shady as hell.

You just need to do some elementary school math. Serving size of 1000mg is 2 capsules. So 1000mg divided by 2 is 500mg per capsule.

Why is there no black pepper in the ingredients which it is said is necessary for absorption?

Black pepper is listed in the ingredients.

What country is the turmeric from? is there any metanil yellow added?

I no longer have the bottle so I really can't answer.
