Works well for rope and tape. Not for wire. Wire will eat through the plastic pin over time.

I have tried all sorts of different styles and brands of plastic electric fence insulators and these have held up far better than any others I have tried. Unlike these insulators, those made of yellow plastic break down and crack under under our intense Florida sun very quickly and are a waste of money in my opinion unless you just intend to use the fence for one season. These insulators also can be used on wood posts or T posts and with the latter they just snap on securely rather than wrap around with a piece of plastic which is where the others usually break first or where you need to screw them together which is a hassle and where that type usually breaks. These insulators also have a pin that can be removed which makes attaching or removing the wire very easy. They are slightly more expensive than some of the other insulators out there but in my opinion they are well worth the price and in the long run they actually cost less because they last longer. These are now the only insulators I buy and nearly all of the others I have tried are now in the trash.

These are black plastic electric fence insulators that will clip to a 'T' post, or can be nailed or screwed to a wood post, the corner of a barn, or pretty much anything else you can run a nail or screw into. These are one of the few pin-lock insulators that have a large enough opening for twisted horse wire, or barbed wire (in between the barbs). The locking pin seems to be a little thicker than most, making me think it might be a little stronger than most. Works well, and the wire can be easily removed from the insulator by pulling the pin. The pin locks in pretty tight (which is a good thing) but may require you to use pliers or a screwdriver under the head to remove it.

Used these on our wooden post for cattle fencing. Very good product not cheap plastic. Ran 24,000 feet of high tensile wire have not had 1 failure

I own a ranch and have used several different systems for our electric fencing. This is the best of the lot. Went up fast and easy, holds wire taut and all in all almost makes fencing fun

I ran dual wires - the top with thin electric fence poly wire and the bottom with thick poly rope. worked well. Be careful, this is the only model with 2 holders; the others only have one I found out the hard way.

So glad I got these. I really like them. A lot more sturdy than others and they didn’t break during our cold spell like the cheaper ones did.

Just as another reviewer said, it is too long/big to fit between the bumps on T-post. Update: my bad. It is supposed to be installed over the bumps/studs, not between. Update: after I installed these, found a fatal design flaw of this product: there are two open slits at the two sides of the insulator, and a small triangular ledges. When it rains, water can stay there and it will spark. Useless.

They are durable, easy to install and the pin securing the wire is great.

As described. Like the way it secures the wire in place especially for corner posts.

We've used these on corners for our electric fence for our goats. The product is tough, easy to use and stands up to the goats!

Can't complain about the quality of the item. Strong and durable and holds the wire fence good and tight. I would have given 5 stars but I ordered four packs of 25 and got a total of 97 insulator's. I had to skimp a little on one or two posts.
