Extremely Beneficial Device At Low $$!!
This is the third one I've ever had and they ALL WORK, provided you've had a competent hard surgeon diagnose you accurately w TFCC. I paid $50 each for my first two in 2008 & 2010. You can wear it almost all the time and for extra strengthening, use KT (kinesio tape). The nest thing is that it's VERY EASY to adjust manually. You just let out or add slack. I would very much like to give a BIG HUG to whomever created this. It has been life saving and saved me from surgery I think the Shock Dr TFCC brace and it was TOO firm along the ulnar side. Creating function again requires the allowance of some movement. This will not solve your problem overnight, it could take a while and you still need yo do PT and/or rest it but it's the best thing for it there is. God bless them.

Absolute lifesaver. Get this brace! Best on the market.
Absolute lifesaver. Truly amazing brace. I tried every brace on the market without success until I finally discovered this brace. I can’t say enough good things about it. I dealt with a very bad injury (thankfully not bad enough to require surgery so far), and this is the only brace that enabled proper healing. I wore it nearly 24/7 (except during showers) for ~4 months, and after that I very slowly began to reduce over the course of many more months. I found that I had to wear it very snugly, which itself caused some bruising and swelling, but I was more than happy to deal with superficial issues, from wearing it so snugly for such a long period of time, for the healing and relief it provided. I highly recommend this brace. Just make sure you wear it properly and snugly.

Scratchy but effective
Very effective, maybe a little too much. My arm and fingers began to hurt after a while of doing activities since my wrist had actual support now and they had to overwork, but after a week they got better. The widget IS made of the same velcro material that cable wraps are but its much thicker. The side that goes on your wrist is tough and scratchy and theres no good reason why it shouldn't be more comfortable. Still, for its low profile and weight and being more effective than any other wrist support I've used I say give it a shot if u can afford it

Helped heal my wrist!
This wrist brace helped my wrist heal from a TFCC cartilage tear. I am a massage therapist and when I tore the cartilage and strained a tendon my left hand/wrist was essentially useless. I lucked into finding this specific brace off a reddit suggestion. Cartilage takes a LONG time to heal, and strained tendons as well. Before starting to wear this brace I could put approximately 5 pounds of pressure down with my bad wrist, and about 60 with my normal/good wrist. Not to mention the pain that only those 5 pounds caused. It’s been 7 months and I’m now able to put 45 pounds of pressure down with my bad wrist! I’ve been following the suggestions on the wrist widget website for helping to improve range of motion and strength. It seems like most of these injuries are caused by muscle imbalances. So grateful for this brace! Recovery is not over but these injuries tend to need at least 1 year to recover from.

Fit and feel
Not exactly what I thought it would be. Works decent in a pinch but uncomfortable and cheap feeling for price.

This brace works !!!!
Product works great for TFCC tear recovery. Just enough support while giving freedom of wrist movement. Would highly recommend. Worth the price!

Works but not Cost Effective
The brace works fine for TFCC injuries however the cost is extremely high for the velcro materials. I've noticed it doesn't stay intact very well if you remove it several times. Edit: Customer service reached out and resolved my issue very quickly.

It might be psychosomatic, but I think it helps
I damaged my ulna area of my dominant hand two years ago and the doctor suggested a cortisone injection which I just didn’t want to commit to for various reasons. I did a lot of research on how to reduce the pain associated with the strain and found that this product might offer some help and I think it has. The larger wrist braces are bulky, hot and over time seem to make my wrist weaker. The wrist widget offers just the right amount of support to the area. The only issue, and it’s a major one, is that it slides off the position it is meant to stay in. So I am all day long, every hour or more, having to adjust it back into place. I understand that perhaps using a piece of thin rug mat, the rubbery weave that you place under rugs to keep the rug in place, could be cut to size and used to keep the wrist widget in place but I don’t have any of that handy. Is the wrist widget actually helping to support my wrist?? Maybe…. Does it give me the psychosomatic effect that my wrist is being supported? Yes, for sure. I still wear it two years later.

Very sharp edges, unusable !
This has very sharp edges & is overpriced, especially considering I had to modify it myself just to be able to wear it all day. I had to tape the edges because they cut into your skin. The WristWidget itself provides amazing stability for my TFCC injury. Fortunately, I'm used to taping my wrist, so after taping the WristWidget, it is finally comfortable to wear. It is definitely not worth 26 EUR. The quality reflects a 10 EUR value at most. My review was being rejected and delayed, no wonder their review is this high.
