Fisher-Price QUIZARD the LEARNING WIZARD w INTERACTIVE CARDS, LIGHTS & SOUNDS Expandable System TEACHES 30+ SKILLS (2006)

We bought this toy for our Godson as a Christmas present last year and it broke after about a month of play! Sad, because he had a lot of cards to go with it and its pretty expensive to fix. Some of the cards don't work with the toy which is a shame. He really loved playing with Quizard too. Save your money b/c it IS so expensive!

You have to admit that most kids toys drive parents crazy. Not so with Quizard. Its actually fun for adults to play along with their children. We now have 3 expansion packs of cards and my son loves playing with this and learning new animals.

This looks like a really cool toy that can be very educational. I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old and he doesn't quite have the attention span for something this involved. He enjoys the lights and thinks the "doggy" is great. Mostly, he just likes putting the cap up and down. I'm sure that the reviews from parents of 4 y/o are accurate and that they love it. I would just reccommend this item for no younger than a 3 year old.

My daughter had been begging for this toy for months and I kept resisting because I thought she'd tire of it easily. I finally gave in-- and I am glad I did. She has so much fun with this toy, and is learning a lot about animals. I think it's a little expensive, keeping it from getting 5 stars, but overall, I am happy with this purchase. I hope it continues to hold her interest!

Both boys thought this toy was very fun and I loved that they were learning animal facts (I randomly remember the facts too out of nowhere). We had one of the expansion packs as well.

my 2 & 1/2 year old can't play with Quizard on his own. It is a clever learning toy. The amount of information is limiting but more cards are sold for variety. I think it will be great as he gets older.

I was pretty excited after reading the reviews and Quizzard looked like a very neat entertaining toy. However, when I received it, I was disappointed by the short demo. While the crystal ball was really cool with its effects, I didn't like that you could answer the questions incorrectly and there was no indication that you were wrong. I'm all for positive reinforcement, but I didn't really like that no distinctions were made at all for wrong vs. right answers. So I opened the toy to see if this was just a limitation of the demo and so I could check out the alternate settings. After several attempts at trying the other functions and using the setting displayed in the demo, I never once saw the crystal ball work during normal play. (only in demo did it do its thing) Very confusing. Maybe I got a dud - but I was definitely not impressed. This is a toy that had alot of potential but just didn't meet my standards for an educational toy.

I have a four year old son, that happens to be autistic, and he loves Quizard. I limit his time with electronic toys, so when he gets to play with one he usually chooses this one. He has memorized all the animals and tells us all about them, he can also spell all of them. And, when he sees the animals in other books, he will start to tell us what Quizard says about them. I am not big on electronic toys, but this one facinates my son, and my family, so I have to give it a great rating.
