Worked great on cleaning the outside coils on our mini splits. Was easy to use as it's a spray sit and rinse. Much cheaper than paying to have a company come out and clean it.

I hadn’t cleaned my heat pump coils in 18 months, and this stuff washed out lots of dirt, dust, etc. We have a 15 seer roof mounted unit, and only used about half of the quart of Coil Cleen. I sprayed it very generously, too. The smell is not offensive; soap-like, actually. The fumes from the overspray are noxious, and burned my eyes and throat. Recommend using a respirator and goggles.

I sprayed as closely as I could, making sure the spray got in between the coils. I went over the coil a few times, waited a few minutes, then followed up with a garden hose making sure the water sprayed in between the coils. I don't know how well I could have gotten the coil clean by just using water spray, but with all the work involved in pulling the a/c out of the window, and bringing it around the corner outside where I could use a garden hose, I only wanted to do this once.

Great product that cleaned the fins to like new appearance. Followed directions and was pleased with the ease of use and unexpected good results. Will purchase again.

We have window air conditioners, and my husband used this on one that was six years old. Since we are in Florida, it has gotten a lot of use. He sprayed the coils, rinsed them off, and the amount of “gunk” on them was unbelievable. He said the smell was not bothersome, and he was impressed at its efficiency. The price was very reasonable also.
