Good range and accuracy. I don't think I've seen a sequential magazine in anything before this. The mechanism is a bit complex and can jam if you're not careful, but that feels minor compared to the advantage of a 15 round magazine in something relatively small.

I bought this wanting to have a nerf fight with some friends and it blasted great. It was fun, accurate, and long range. It could shoot super far. 100% worth the money.

warning: this is the last good blaster nerf ever made. it's all downhill from here /j this big iron iis $30 and it isn't afraid to show you why. you load 15 rounds into the 5 chambers, get confused on why it isn't one big rotating cylinder, and it's time for high noon. pull the priming handle back (or at least try to, you need some GRIP to get that thing), aim at whatever you intend to be financially responsible for, and fire. a rival ball will sail toward the target and end your current situation of financial stability. these things HURT if you hit someone with them. not as much as half darts or gel but these are close. the plastic is dense and resists a lot of physical shock which is good for if you just so happen to be in the appalachians wink wink. this is not for the youngins. i wouldn't recommend it for anyone below 10, and if you're between 10 and 14, you better have some muscle to use this. the value for money's good, seeing as it is a ridiculously high capacity sidearm, but the reloading process is a bit tedious. the appearance is somewhere between "elegant, refined blasting" and "eh". could be a good gift if you want to ruin someone else's life too

nice range. recommended for older children given the functionality of the blaster. Easy to handle.

OMG... these are so fun.. I'm 42, bought two for my son (9). Ignore the stupid age rating on these, they are perfect for a 9-year old. The Nerf Ultra guns, which are rated for younger kids than these, are WAY MORE PAINFUL. I'll get shot by one these guns over a Nerf Ultra gun, those leave a mark. Only annoying thing is the balls roll around and are much more work to pick up. Imagine that, the balls roll around..... As always, wear eye protection..

I grew up during the time when Nerf guns, you know, sucked. They didn't shoot far, even the magazine fed ones would lose velocity because of the friction from the barrel length. So I had very low expectations for the new versions....and boy did I pay the price. It's not Nerf anymore, it's the middle ground between nerf and Airsoft. They ACTUALLY shoot up to 100 feet, they're somewhat accurate, and they hit pretty hard. Not like Airsoft, but a few levels higher than the gentle flick of little foam darts. But if your kid complains that it hurts too much I suggest telling them to suck it up. It doesn't hurt TOO bad. I got shot in the eye and still lived to tell the tale. Not that I'm saying being shot right in the eyeball at 10 feet away was a pleasurable experience by any means, but you definitely don't want to. Wear goggles, please. You won't get a black eye, but it hurts pretty bad. Wouldn't hurt to treat it like an Airsoft gun either. Keep the safety on, don't aim it directly at yourself, prevent negligent discharges, all that stuff.

Its fun and fires well. However it has the most ridiculous loading/magazine method of any Nerf weapon I've ever seen.

Me gusto su diseńo, es ligera; increible que tenga 15 disparos para q la batalla dure mas tiempo. El proceso de recarga es algo duro; tardas un poco en acostumbrarte. Vale la pena, siempre y cuando este en costo no mayor a 500 pesos mexicanos. (25dollares aprox). Es muy buena arma nerf.

the loading n unload of the gun is a headache

Great addition to the Rival Line, however abit bulky as a sidearm. Maybe a decent secondary if you can holster it well.
