Effective concrete dye
Wear gloves. And know once it touches the concrete, it is permanent. Some fading for time, but really not that much.

Quikrete Liquid concrete dye
A highly concentrated dye for concrete driveway, walks or decorative steps. Makes fresh concrete look aged as apposed to bright gray. Easy to use just add to concrete mixture a little at a time. Iโve used it for years. Also available in colord for a special look.

Not impressed with color change.
Uh, I guess use like three times more than you think you'll need. I added nearly a whole bottle on a stair tread pour and it barely seemed to change the color. I wanted dark gray or even black but I ended up with light grey instead. will have to find a better way to dye concrete.

This stuff works great and is super concentrated and works great when mixed into concrete.
This stuff is awesome and super concentrated. We are pouring some custom size column caps and mixed some of this with a test sample of concrete. To say we hardly used any to get a very dark charcoal color would be an understatement. There will be plenty left over to pour some concrete countertops in our outdoor kitchen. I anticipate that I will have a lot left over of this initial bottle. I bought three in anticipation of needing more than one bottle and I was very wrong. The process to return the extra two bottles was super easy.

What's most important to know? Glad ya asked . . .
Works well, and used for a few purposes. 1. You can do some neat after effect coloring with this, i.e. streaks of dark gray, make it a swirl effect on top of the just poured cement. 2. Mix it in traditionally, and darken the color, but not to a full black. True to color, what you see on the bottle is what you get.

Worked like charm
This stuff is amazing. After looking for something to actually restore my front stone porch I was only finding a bunch of expensive options until ran across this. I got on my hands and knees with a pair of long rubber gloves and I washed this into my porch using a wash cloth. Wax on wax off Mr Miyagi style. I then let it dry over night. I noticed the next day that residue did come up on my the bottom of my shoe as fine dust. But no worries I can tell that the coloring was sticking to the concrete stones, and plus I had planned to seal the color in with weather proof sealer. I let the first coat of sealer dry for 2 hours and then added another coat using a chemical spray bottle from Lowes. PRESTO! My porch looks awesome. It has now been a couple of months since I applied to my porch and it looks amazing still. The color came out as a dark gray with some light gray mixed in color.

Too inconsistent to work with. Less product in bottle than locally sold.
I wish I had known how hard it was going to be to use this so that I could have sent it back in time. The color mixes fine. That isn't the problem. But if you need a larger area and more than I bag of mortar it would be hard to get consistent color the next time because this mixes into the water prior to adding to the mortar instead of into the mortar itself. If anyone has done this then you would know that often more water is needed than the bags of mortar call for and we always had to add as we went till we got to the right consistency to apply. The amount of water used will change the shade of the color. More water equals less color. I was trying to combine the brown and the charcoal so I was experimenting with samples. Even when I got the same ratio of brown to charcoal a change in the amount of water changed the color. It is better to go with the powder bags which mix directly into the dry mortar/sand. After writing this original review I've come back to add that there is less product in these sold on and by Amazon than bought locally. I noticed that the bottle seemed lighter as I was getting ready to return the local purchased items so I weighed them all on our food scale. The 3 locally purchased weighed in at about 1.49 to 1.51 lbs whereas the Amazon bottle came in at 1.28lbs
