Good Gray coverage
Great gray coverage and color last long with no visible damage but the light brown makes it dark brown for my medium brown hair.

I was a hairdresser for over 20 years, specializing in colour. This is the BEST product I have ever used. The saturation is perfect and doesn't fade quickly. In fact, if I was using any colour but a red, I'd wager it would have little to no fade. It's gentle on my hair as well. I've found it stays true to colour longer which means I can go longer between touch ups. I do use the developer from this company as well. It seems to work better.

Color VERY inaccurate, no returns!
7v is SUPPOSED to be a dark BLONDE. I've been doing color since the 90s and have been to cosmetology school. I mixed this 1:1 with the Da Vinci clear and their 20 vol developer over my level 7-8 blonde hair. It should have come out LIGHTER than level 7. Instead I ended up with clowny Grimace purple level 4-5 hair. I even tried washing it about 7 times with hot water and it still won't lighten up.Started a return, then when I got to the stage to print the label, it said they only accept unopened items. SERIOUSLY? So I'm out $50 on all this Da Vinci stuff and have Grimace hair. And now I'll have to spend money on color remover.
