so much better than the plastic clip, worth the price
high quality, excellent design, works so much better than the clips, eliminates the oil drain down the hand/ wrist. Worth the extra cost?

Make for easy drain
This works very nice. The fitting is perfect. The build quality is also good. Makes draining so much easier than the cheap throw away plastics that comes with the filter package. The tube is rubber, not plastic, which is also very nice. The rubber tube also clears easier too. When I'm done, I hang it with the tube down and place a paper towel below it for the remaining oil to drain onto. It's a nice product for the diy.

A good tool - IF you cut the drain hose as short as possible
This tool works well and avoids an otherwise messy job -- IF you shorten the drain hose so that it just reaches the drain pan. If you try to use the tool with the full-length hose out of the box, there isn't enough pressure to overcome the "leg" of oil that will back up in the hose. In that case, you end up with an incompletely drained filter housing and a hose full of oil -- and a mess. Just cut the hose to the minimum length needed to reach your target pan. Recommended as the way to deal with Toyota's annoying oil filter change process.
