The 500b series is for medium to deep skin with PEACH YELLOW undertones. This would not be the best for deeper to dark skin tones with red undertones, however, there is a palette available in this line/series. I would suggest knowing your proper undertone and shade range for your complexion so you can utilize the entire palette. This is NOT my shade, I would need the 200 series, however, there is a color I could use for concealer. For clarification, this is professional makeup (typically for a makeup artist) for special occasions (weddings, photoshoots, studio lights, etc). This makeup is made with waxes and silicone, which makes it waterproof and an all-day wear type of makeup which is why this is heavy-duty makeup for special occasions. If you are NOT a makeup artist, or won't be using this for long-wear, you can still get lots of use from this makeup but just be aware of what it's intended for. Comparison: The makeup is comparable to RCMA makeup but Cinema Secrets is said to have more range for deeper skin tones (due to the selection of undertones). MY ATTACHED IMAGES: Are of this 500 series palette along with a comparison against the 300 series palette. I have labeled the comparison shots. I took multiple shots with flash and no flash, although with just natural daylight from the window. Overall this makeup is creamy with a very smooth application that is full coverage. This palette can be used for foundation, color correctors, and concealers if you choose the correct undertones. The only reason this makeup may NOT work for you is if you select the wrong undertone for your skin (which I did). I would use this on clients (who aren't my complexion), so this entire series would be a great addition to any makeup artist's kit. It arrived completely damaged.

This was a nice palette. It looked good. It had a lot of colors you could use on their own or together. I was happy with the makeup. It did a good job of flattering me. It highlighted the good features. It went on well. It felt fine on. I didn’t have any reactions or problems or anything. It stayed on fairly well. It didn’t feel too heavy or anything. I was pleased with it.

look up Cinema Secrets online and you can find the answer you have all been wanting to know: how to determine which shade you should get. For me, this is perfect because I get red on my face that need to be neutralized. This does it just fine. It isn't too dark for me to use to conceal imperfections.

I received the Cinema Secrets Pro Foundation 500B series. The colors on the site are pretty close to my African American skin color (shown above) I do know when you get any make-up item online, it is hard to know if that is the actual color for you. What you see are the colors you get. I just could not sample before I received it... It is high pigment and it is smooth, not moisturized. I knew it would not be moisturized with it being made for camera ready. They even state to mix with foundation Primer or Moisture Spray to sheer down from full coverage. With a clean face, I moisturized and primed my face. The colors when on lighter than shown in the case I received. Also, it went on looking ashy or with a white base. I just wish it was a little darker and did not have that ashen look. It is like all the color was drained out of my face. I can only use it as a primer, then put on my foundation. It covers very well and makes my makeup look flawless and not caked or ashy. I still have to rate this fairly high because it is a good pigmented foundation and covers well. I just could not use it because it just made me look ashy or I had no color to my skin. I know it is not a concealer or primer however, I would use it that way. Also, it did not irritate or break my skin out.

This assortment of foundation colors can be use either to closely match existing skin tone or to alter that tone as part of a makeup artist's work. Goes on smoothly and with excellent consistency. Not permanent foundation, but long enough lasting, particularly for stage or film work as it is designed for.

This might work as a bronzer, but it is not acceptable as a foundation. Every single color is way too dark. It is also true that it doesn't ever "set," so all day long, accidental brushes to the face transfer color. This is not nice make up to wear.
