Slow clock, missing one speed selection, overall decent machine.
Timer runs slow. After 1 hour the clock is 40 seconds behind. Treadmill decent but lacks enough direct select speeds. Where is the 5? 3, 4, 6, 7, 8? Adding a 5 would have brought this to 4 stars. The direct hill selection on the other hand gives a nice balance through the increasing hill percents.

Beware! Console broke after less than 4 yrs. and replacement is $3000 with labor and diagnosis
I have a TrueFitness ES 900 that we purchased new in Dec. of 2016. It is now almost four years later and the console no longer works. Although the treadmill itself has 10 yr. warranty for parts, the console only has 3 yr. for obvious reasons. The treadmill does not power up without the console and the new console diagnosis, replacement part and repair cost is $3000. So I now have a $10,000 treadmill and expect that 4 yrs. is the life expectancy of their consoles which means I will be expected to pay for a new console every 4 yrs. I am told that this is an anomaly, however, if that were truly the case, they would send us a new console free of charge.

Rock solid
I agree with the lower ratings about the programs, they are very limited... So why the five stars? The quality of this treadmill is so superior, it overcomes the shortcomings of it's programming. I've owned several other treadmills, some that had much nicer programs and customization but none approached the quality of the True in this price range. You can pay a small fortune for one that has high quality and features, go for features and lower quality or get the quality and less features. I'd rather have the solid treadmill that lasts years personally. I'm 6'5" and 260 pounds and the True handles me like a champ. I'd say the belt/mechanics and frame are health club quality/build.If you go for a True, dig around for a good price, I got mine much cheaper than what it is going for right now online.

Not as good as you are told.
This is a solid machine, but there are no creature comforts. All of the programs are suited to someone who is moving very slowly. Running surface is good and it runs well. Requires self-lube on regular (every 3 months) basis. Instruction manual was never reviewed by anyone and is filled with mistakes and untrue information. Mine was delivered and set-up with a console that was slightly askew and True and the company have been completely unwilling to provide new arms and make the unit square. Its a good machine, but for $3000 look at something else. This company is sloppy with the finish, its customer service stinks even if the guts of the units are strong. If you are a serious runner and would like to ever run a program, this is not the unit for you. They top out at about 6mph. The HRM program cuts out too often leaving you running straight uphill no longer tied to your heart rate.

PS300 - A little dissapointing for the price
I've owned this treadmill for a couple years now. It has been a durable and sturdy unit, and easy to maintain. My main complain about the unit is that most of the presets cannot be adjusted to conform to your running style, meaning that faster runners are stuck running slow if using most of the presets. To compensate for the lack of flexibility of the presets, I use the Heart Rate Cruise Control feature that allows you to preset your heart rate, max. speed and max. incline. However, as another review indicated, if the treadmill loses your heart rate, it simply ends the workout. The bottom line is that if you want versatility this is not the treadmill for you. I wish that True would come up with a new preset module or program that could be loaded to introduce more flexibility to this treadmill.

Great treadmill
Pretty surprised by some of the bad reviews but then I actually ready them. Yes this treadmill has few preset workouts. But if you are like me and just hop on and run, or do your own workout this treadmill is so much better than any other treadmill I've ever had. Much sturdier and better cushioning. I'd rather put my money into the treadmill rather than a fancy screen.

Was a little nervous that this wouldn't be a good treadmill for the money
Was a little nervous that this wouldn't be a good treadmill for the money. I have been used to running on the commerical top-of-the line True treadmills at the local fitness center. I have only run 5 miles so far, and I'm very pleased. The treadmill has "quick keys" which are nice. Nobody wants to start out their run by pressing UP on the speed keys 30 times (and thereby prematurely wearing out the electronics). The treadmill is VERY smooth and ramps up and tapers down speed gradually, almost too slowly. Im still not sure if I like the orthopedic belt, but time will tell. It should be clear that this machine is in my basement on carpet over concrete, and there is NO NOTICEABLE shaking of the console, and I am 190lbs. We did put it on a treamill mat. This is a very sturdy machine. Build quality is very good. If this tread lasts a decade or more then I would consider it a very good purchase.

worth the price
purchased in feb 2018. this treadmill is very stable at higher running speeds, among the most stable ive ever run on. this is what mattered to me the most. it feels like a commercial or health-club quality machine when you run on it. worth the price and would definitely buy again.
